Talking Just bought F150

Glad my account never got deleted do to hardly ever logging on.
Now that I am an owner of a pickup this site should be even more useful/fun for me.

Details:
01' F150 Supercab shortbed, 4.6L, most of the interior options (not that I cared about that), and only 39K miles. Got it for $18,335
Actually just got back from picking it up, so now I am gonna go wash it

Haha, I know. I am online all the time, just never had much of a reason to post here until now. I haven't driven it much, but so far I love it. Way nicer than I was expecting to be buying, but I figured mine as well if I can get the loan. Gonna be hurting money wise for a bit, but I think it's worth it

Oh yea, about what is the typical gas milage for a super cab 4.6L? Not a big deal, but I am almost certain it's gonna be quite a bit better than my 97' T-Bird.

Gas mileage really varies. There are guys getting 18MPG in the city/22+ MPG highway, and there are guys getting 10 city/15 highway.

It really just depends.

Congrats on the new truck, it looks great

Actually the bird gets like 10-12mpg driving it moderatly hard (not stock).

Thanks guys. Still a bit "shocked" that I go it so quickly, and that I actually have a truck again.

Not that it matters, been almost been a month since I bought my truck, so............

I still love it. Best investment ever. Everytime I get in it, I think how lucky I am.
It gets about 13mpg, which isn't too bad, and I have put almost 2000 miles on it since I bought it. Nothing I dislike about it.
Oh, thanks to the helpful info here, on Sunday I raised the front about an inch via the torsion bars to level the truck out. Looks great, and I never would have known what to do without the info here.
Also put on a bug deflector and got some Husky mats for the winter.
and today, I decided to clean the IAC since ever since I got it it's had a little rough idle (not bad but...), and it's better than ever. Might even replace it since it was pretty dirty, or clean it more.

Anyways, enough of my stupid rambling. Damn painkillers make me talk/type a bunch (teeth hurt)
