Thumbs down Terror attack in London

Bastards!!!!!!

I'm watching the news right now and there have been 6 or 7 explosions in London this morning mostly on public transport.
Details are very sketchy at the moment but there are lots of casualties.

What do these people think they will achieve by this?
London was bombed by the Germans every night for years during WW2 and all it did was to pi$$ us off even more.

Somebody better get Nuked for this.

Quite angry now

They probably are hoping for a cave in by the public like Spain did.

I doubt the people that plan/carry out these murders are very well informed about actual history, other than what they are told by their supposed religious leaders/governements/state run media.

While this is an easy chance for everyone (myself included) to speak out against others who are not steadfast friends to our great land as Britain is.
Instead I would rather state that my prayers are with our British compatriots and I hope that they find their families in good health.

I guarantee you that will absolutely NOT happen.
The British have never been bombed into submission, not by the Germans, not by the IRA Terrorists and not by this lot whoever they are.
In fact, it will be the complete opposite. The British public will become more resolute and demand more action against the terrorists.
We are as patriotic as you and view an attack on one of us as an attack on all of us. It only makes us stick together more.
Watch the British press and see what happens.
There will be demands to protect our borders properly, make visitors arrive with visas and demands to close down Mosques and deport people who preach hated for us.
It's such a shame. Britain has welcomed anybody who want to come there usually without question but this will change now.
This attack was really a matter of WHEN and not IF.
Obviously timed to coincide with the opening of the G8 summit in Britain, it is, like 9/11 an attack on ALL of us and all we hold dear.

Time to crank up the war on terrorism and actually treat it like a war.
Give all the countries who support or harbour terrorists or preach terrorism ONE WEEK to round them up and deal with them or we come for you all.

First...thoughts and prayers to those murdered or injured.

These attacks anger me as if they were on our shores. America has no greater ally than England and it is just like your brother getting jumped by some cowards.

The British aren't gonna blink....and neither will the Americans who stand shoulder to shoulder with them.

exactly what I was thinking.

But like Adam said, the Luftwaffe couldn't do it. A bunch of Saudi terrorists certainly won't break the British resolve.

I've got to agree with the above sentiments, the UK is no Spain, they step up not back down, always have. Someone miscalculated this one, particuarly with support for the War on Terror dropping in the UK b/c of the Iraq issue. I'm really curious to see what group of lowlife scum crawl out from under their rock to claim this one. I'm guessing that it's some radical anti-G8 nutcases and sort of "amatuer terrorists" to boot. I can't believe that any terrorist organization with an ounce of brains (and make no mistake some of them, including Bin Laden are very smart and know when to work with and against public opinion) thinks that pissing off the UK right about now and probably solidifying their resolve would be a good idea. My condolences and best wishes to all the good people of the UK.

Edit: check that some dumba$$ jihadists did claim it... I still say really bad move and it will backfire on these morons.
