Just thought I'd chime in. It'd be a blast to show him the sites down the haul road. Maybe that musk ox is still hangin' around mile 40? If not him, I guess the 1000's of caribou should provide ample entertainment.

I love living in Fairbanks. The hunting and fishing are spectacular, all of the seasons are beautiful, it's a perfect place to raise a family, I'm even heading out with my wife to go King Salmon fishing with my dad this weekend. Just pop the boat in the water and cruise up to the confluence of the Tanana and Chena rivers. Big suckers, too. A few weekends ago, I was down in Seward halibut fishing, then I was in Chitna dipnetting for salmon, up to Deadhorse for a few weeks where I saw thousands of caribou, then back down to Chitna to finish up our salmon fishing (gotta fill the permits). I even had a small black bear wander up my driveway a few days ago. Man, I love this place.
