Anyone ever sell a truck on Ebay?

I'm wondering what kind of hassle it is and if its worth it. I'll definitely put a reserve price on the truck. I'm thinking I might go this route so I can take advantage of the employee discount Ford is going to offer.

I've never sold anything very new, but I have sold two early 70's El Caminos and a '96 Towncar Limo. Got what I wanted for all three, and will be listing a 34K mile '87 Grand National (pix in my gallery) soon...

Yes. I sold one of my F-250s on eBay, and also sold a extra bed for a 95 F-Series with no problems. Just make sure you threaten the dead beats in your listing, and you shouldn't have any problems.

I got $250 more for my truck than I had it listed for locally, and I sold the bed for $181 more than I paid for it. Definitely a good place to make some cash.

I sold a car on ebay and it was great. I got my price and it was no hassle. My next car I sold thru Yahoo classified and sold it in less than 24 hours.

What about payment? Would Paypal be the safest easiest way to go? Or maybe cash or cashier's check?

I haven't advertised it locally yet, however i'm thinking Ebay would be an easier way to go.
