Any Pumpkins fans in here?

I remember I was really depressed when they broke up. They were one of my favorite bands when I was in highschool...

I just heard on the Sirius that Billy Corgan is wanting to get the band going again, but that he's also promoting a solo album/career or something, so this might just be a publicity thing...

I wasn't too crazy about Zwan or whatever that was he did after SP...

Billy Corgan is a tool. Did anyone read his lame-o poetry book?! La la la.. .I'm a nutjob singer, people will love me as a poet... NOT! Seriously loser! A few good hits, that's all he was worth. He needs money to support his crack habbit, that's the only reason he's trying to get the band back together...

Never could stand his whiney voice. Didn't think much of their songs.

What was the name of that horrible spin-off band ZWAN? They are ok.

Siamese Dream was the first one that I bought. I like that one a lot. I think the earlier Gish is better. I tend to feel that bands are better closer to their beginning. Pisces Iscariot is a good one too. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness has a lot of good songs but I don't think that they progressed. At least not to my liking. I was less than happy with Adore. I'll try to keep up with a band and always hope that they will continue to produce a style that I like. They've got to keep me interested though, and as of late they have lost it a bit.

These are the Smashing Pumpkins CDs I have. It would be nice to see them use their earlier style to influence some new stuff. I'll keep an ear out.
