They're muts... But they're my muts!

We've had the black & white one since she was the size of a hamster. We got the blond one when she was 10 weeks old. They're "sisters" genetically, seperated by two litters, and not to mention- different daddies.

All I know is all teh puppies in the black & white litter are now dead- except her, and her brother, who my Mom has... Her brother! whew- that SOB is mean- he's bigger and thicker than his sister with a big-dog's head. That joker attacked me for about 10 seconds about my own baby because I approached my mother while she was holding him and he was crying) I had to drop a few "rights" on him hard enough to get him off me; while soft enough to not injure him. Tore my right foot, ankle & calf, up.

His sister is mean too- she's bitten me at least twice; bit a friend of mine after he stuck his hand in her Pet-Taxi teasing her, bitten one kid (HE was asking for it) tried to bite another (But the girl was quick), and attacked a doggone boxer. (This boxer must've been mixed w/Great Dane- that's the biggest freakin' boxer I'd ever seen)... Both times at the vet. (She hates the vet) She pretends to be nice. Tail wagging & everything, then you reach for her and draw back a nub. She's older now- so she'll let you pet her- and will sit there the whole time you're petting her....

You just can't stop because if you do- then she'll bite you...

Yes; my dogs are crazy... The blond one is nice- until she thinks you're hurtign the little one- then she'll jump you... Fortunetely- she's still scared of me; the little one isn't...

Her mouth is small so she can't take off too big-a-chunk.

DUDE!
You have a mean dog, mean enough that it will bite its own owner and you have a baby with it? Oh My GOD!
It needs a $.02 ".22" bullet between it's eyes before your kids gets bigger and accidentally does something to make him attack as kids enevitably always do. If he is that agressive he has NO PLACE near a child. It's better to lose the dog than to lose a child. Guy I went to high school with lost his 3 year old kid last year. They were at a friends house and the kid was aggrevating the dog so the friends dog attacked him and killed him before the parents or owner could get to him. There is NO Place or reason to have a domesticated violently aggressive dog. If it attacks a stranger (if the stranger gave it even a partial reason), I can let that slide. Thats a guard dog. Biting the hand that feeds it... Thats just a mean dog thats going to hurt or kill someone. Likely someone you love.

Edited to add:
Note: That the killer dog was on a chain! It took him less than 20 seconds to rip the boys throat out.
I'm telling you what.. We don't know pain!
That family suffered (suffering) from losing thier child! I can't even imagine.

Edited to add again:
Aggrevating really wasnt a good word to use. The kid was playing with the dog and teh dog decided he didn't want to play anymore. Only violent history the dog had was it nipped at the owner once and would growl occasionally.

She gives little man a very wide berth...

If she wanted to bite him, she would have by now becauseas careful as we are- there have been times that he's gotten close to her. When I say close I mean stepped on her tail, used her head to pull up to a standing position with, etc... The blonde stays out of his way (jealous); and steals his toys & hides them.

As far as the really mean dog- to him I am a stranger. He only sees me once or twice a year and he follows my mom track for track. He thought I was hurting the baby (reason for the baby crying) so when I approached my Mom (The woman he protects) and a crying baby- I guess he was not gonna take the chance- and he decided to light my **** up. He's 448 miles away- so he's not a threat. Beside- even though his attack hurt me for a few minutes- he did not break my skin...

But, as much as I love my girls- if I thought they'd hurt my son; I'd give them to my mother.

So far; I have no reason to believe that they will. Like I said- the little one has mellowed dramatically since she broke 10. Recently, the vet handled her and we didn't have to muzzle her or anything, no growls or anything (That really made me think she was about to die- but, she recovered from that spinal injury and she can walk & run again...)
