Took off today, the hottest(95 degrees) day of the year so far. Partly cloudy, sunny, light wind, and clear water.

I had a big Bass on a Paca Craw but she wrapped me around an underwater limb and I didn't get a good hookset. She stripped line and felt big while I had her on for a few seconds.

Next, I had one on Matt's Bluegill swimbait but again, I failed to hook her and she threw the bait. I threw it again and had another taker and landed it but it was just 1.8 lbs.

Back to pitchin' the T-rigged PC and landed a 1.5 lber.

Near the bank, I caught a 2.5 lber on a laminated(black top--red shad bottom) Senko that I'd rigged weightless with a 4/0 Sugoi hook.

Then I started throwing a chartrues/white spinnerbait made by Mike. That bait caught me my second 2.5 lber., a 2.0 lber, and a 1.5 lber. They didn't want the all-black one that had worked a few weeks ago though.

The last Bass was a 2.0 lber that sucked in another Paca Craw.

I caught two dinks and missed 4 or 5 total so they were active today and they liked a variety of baits.
