Ford Wins

Wednesday was the last day of school for us here in Cypress and so a few of us went out to do a lil partying
well we got the bright idea to hook up the trucks and see who would win
well a few chevys went and a few old trucks and my friends with a 04 silverado said he could beat me ahahahha ya right
we hooked em up and started and it took a second but soon it was obvious that my ford was winning.
well this guy i know from school showed up later and i hate this dude lol but he has a titan and he said he could beat me
but i was real real nervous and said no i couldnt so he said we could later

should i???
can my 04 fx4 supercrew ls win or no???

What the He!! give it a shot, but I think those Titans pull pretty hard from what I have heard. Just don't put any money on it. Good Luck.

I'll bet that is real good on all drivetrain components. I would never subject my truck to that kind of abuse on purpose.

With trucks, it's not about the HP, its the torque! Go whoop his butt already! The Titan will probably just drop it's tranny anyhow....

My first thought is this is utterly stupid and I can't believe someone would be this dumb to try this. Wow what it must feel like to have the ignorance of a 18yo. MY PERSONAL FEELINGS ASIDE.....

Given you both have the same body style. You're going to get killed, he has you beat in HP and torque through all RPM ranges. You weight more, so it'll just take him a few more seconds to start pulling you backwards. Go for it, but if you really don't like this guy...having him show you up in front of your friends really won't help the situation. I love our trucks to death, minus the fact mine smells like a lemon, but the Titan kills us on power, plain and simple.

I'll be waiting for the thread that tells us all about how one of you snapped the chain and it tore the heck out of your truck...over even worse God forbid hurts you or somone else. What the heck ever happened to flat out racing from a standstill....or you not doing that because he'd kill you by 3 seconds there too? Once again, not knocking on our Fords, Titan just has more power and a LOT less weight.

Not a chance, there is no way he could make that happen. Don't get his hopes up. The only clang if there is one will be the chain snapping and going into his tailgate ruining the back of the truck.

Actually, with any kind of pull-off it is about the weight times the static coefficient of friction afforded by the tires. The vehicle with the greatest friction will always win.

The Titan may still drop its tranny though.
