Vader, I'm back. *STAR WARS SPOILERS*

Vacation was too short.

I have a question for you. I am sure you have already answered it, but I'm too lazy to do a search

~ANYWAY~

What did you think of Episode III? I am going out on a limb here and I might get flamed, but I think the opening to SITH, was better then VI. I watched A New Hope last night and it is awesome, but SITH - WOW !

Also, I thought Anakin lost his limbs IN the lava, not from Obi-Wan. True?

I am going to see it again this weekend.

I found it.

What's the inconsistency? Did you find any?

Man I just saw Episode III

How does Obi Wan age so fast?

What are the inconsistency u guys saw? I remember a book about Luke looking for and finding his mom but if we saw episode III we would know that would be kinda hard to do.

Obi Wan was about the right age. Luke was about 18 - 20 when we FIRST saw Ben. So, I figured he was around ... what? 50ish or so.

The inconsistency was were Luke and Leia talked about their mother.

Ah yeah i remember that now, I know you can argue that its phesable but he just gets so old in 20 years. If he is 50 in episode IV then hes an old 50 my Dad doesnt look that bad. Also Padme doesnt age at all so it really doesnt bother me.

Maybe he aged that fast for living on Tatueen for all those years. I know I would.

Alright here is one that I just thought of. In return of the jedi when vader gets his hand chopped off he screams in pain, but that should be is robot hand.

Even though it was his mechanical hand, I would think it is controlled by his nerves.

Just a guess.

Welcome back ya lazy bum....Vacation....the nerve.

Yep on the nerves to vader's hand.

I thought the movie was great. It blew away the first two prequels. Where it ranks 1-4 I'm still placing myself. Gotta let the newness wear off first. I was disappointed that we didn't get more Vader in the suit but I was still quite happy with the movie.

I still have to watch Jedi to figure out my inconsistency but...

In Jedi Luke asks Leia, "tell me about your mother, your real mother. I never knew mine." This is prior to revealing the fact that they are siblings. Well she says something along the lines of " I don't remember much, feelings mostly, but I do remember she was really sad". Well if they were split at birth from Amidala how does she know anything more than Luke?

On Vader in the lava If you read Splinter of the Mind's Eye than yes Vader required the suit for a slightly different cause. Still Lava related. However, technically the movies become gospel therefore invalidating any arcs that other authors may have come up with. If there is a discrepency between the movies and 3rd party books you would have to defer to the movies. I don't like it but I'm sure that is Lucas' theory.

Cool.

Another question, as I sit here and ponder about the Universe that is far, far away...How did Han Solo and Chewie meet and end up smuggling together?

Also, Chewie was in the war against the Sith (machines actually) and knew Yoda. Did Chewie not know all the details about Anakin and how he became Lord Vader?

Found the answer to my own question in case others were wondering.

Han Solo’s childhood is vague, although most sources agree that he was an orphan with few family ties. As a youth he became an unwilling member of a criminal cartel. While with the cartel, Han met his first Wookie and learned the Wookie language. After escaping the cartel, Han enrolled in the Imperial Academy where he excelled, especially in piloting, before being expelled for saving the life of Chewbacca, a Wookie slave. Chewie swore a life-debt to Solo for this selfless act and remained with Han through many adventures.

At the end of Episode III you see vader and sidious looking out at the death star being built.......now from Episode III to Episode IV is like a 20 year difference.......what Im trying to get at did it really take 20 years to build the death star... . Just something to think about

I would think so.

The D. Star was HUGE...like a small moon, too big for a space station.

Leia says she remeber her mom was beautiful, she did when she was very young. As far as we know, she was talking about her adopted mother, and din't know she was adopted.

If she is talking about her real mother, then maybe threw it in to reveal she is also in tune w/ the force, she just hasn't realized it, yet.

They learned from their mistakes and it only took them 1/4 of the time, the second time around
