Long story short, big hersh created a second name to use at work. He used CIA-Agent as a devils advocate to keep topics stirred up. He revealed his secret identity as (CIA) a couple of months ago. So if you hear anyone refer to big Hersh as CIA, Agent Hersh or any other number of combination of the two screen names, then you now it is Big Hersh and now know why.

Sounds like your getting your priorities in order . That says a lot about you and what you have learned so far, in your young life at 22 years of age. Having a new shiney truck is great but that wears off quick when your sacrificing so many other things in your life. Good luck and hope things go well with your new surplus of cash.

Yea this is definatly an old thread.
If your bored and want to know the whole story, do a search for threads started by TritonXLT, then do a search for post by Triton XLT, TritonXLT2, TritonXLT3, TritonXLT4, TritonXLT5, TritonXLT6, TritonXLT7, TritonXLT8 (TritonXLT2-8 will all be in the same thread) look at the last ones first. Then do a search for mountaineer02v8, where the story conitnues.

Ok. Forget left field then, I'm not even in the same ball park. I read this post and took it for face value. What's funny is that I was just reading his signing off for now thread (under mountaineer02v8). Are you saying that this guy has signed up a dozen different times under differrent handles . I will search for the next 20 mins.

I went and brought a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer Premier AWD V-8 SUV!
I brought this SUV just not even 2 full days ago, and where do you think this truck is at now? THE DEALER!!! It blew a transmition with only 37K on it!!!! To make it even better, the ABS light was also on the dash, so I'm hoping it's just a senser gone bad, but it's under warrenty with a 100 dollor deducable, but I'm a little scared now that I brought this SUV with this many problems in just less then 2 days of owning it!
Should I be scared of more problems with the Mountaineer, or i should be good to go after they fix the transmition and ABS light??
Good thing is, they gave me an 05 F-150 to drive until my trucks fixed!

I'm hoping I did not make another mistake and have a problem truck again..any ideas??

Ok. You forgot 04supercrew, where he reveals that he has 5 screen names. I never found any posts of tritonxlt2 thru 8 but I think that I get the picture now. I was even thinking of maybe buying him a beer while he was down here in South Beach, but maybe I should be looking over my shoulder and locking my doors on my Lightining instead . Well, at least until he goes back to his manure fertilized, possessed voices, stone blocked home, that is . I somehow feel like a frog thats been obliviously swimming in an aligator hole the whole time .

Anyway, I hope he has fun down here in Florida, whatever his name is .

Throw in a mortgage that just as high, and the secondary costs of home ownership (property taxes, insurance, electricity, gas, water, phone, cable, HS-internet, maid, lawn service, American Homeshield, Brinks, etc..) throw in a new baby, and the other bills- and it becomes very clear that one can get by with a lesser vehicle... My wife thinks I'm lying when I tell her I'm thinking about trading the Expedition in on a Toyota Matrx... (Don't ask me why, but I LOVE that car) or a Ford Focus (Ditto).

I've thought long & hard about trading at least one of these in on a cheaper vehicle..

I'd LOVE to get back into a three-hundred & some dollar car note and get out of the 5's & 6's.

They are great trucks, but as Grandama used to say when you put more on your plate than you could comfortably eat. "Your eyes were bigger than your belly huh?!"

I'm about 3.5 years away from having lots of cash flow like I did prior to buying this house, and all this stuff- and I know I'll kick myself in the **** mentally if in 3.5 yeas I still have 18 payments left on a Matrix- when I could have my Expedition paid for. So, for now everythign gets paid, and there's a little extra to go out, or hit the movies every now & then. But I'm looking forward my "Good old Days" coming back- when I could pay all my bills, and still have $1,800 or so left out of each paycheck...

I'll never have two big-**** car notes at the same time again.

Man, it's like your using my check book. I'm in the same boat, but when income taxes come in this year, we will be caught up. I cant wait till the "Good old Days" again.
