I agree with Jward. I guide for striped bass in the summers (I teach and coach) and most of my rigs are the Ambassadeur 5500 C3 reels with All-Star, Falcon, and Castaway rods. It really depends on what type of fishing you do. I have about 8 of these reels and have never had problems with any of them.
