A huge part of the price of an adult beverage is taxes.

The precedent has been established with booze and tobacco - the government can impose a sin tax on 'unhealthy' items if they want to.

Should they tax fast food? NO, IMO. It would be a hardship on the poor, as well as an additional tax on the rest of us who already pay too much.

Besides, it is not going to do a damn thing to solve the problems that face Detroit.

Detroit is all about detroit and those in office, they Clearly do not represent the people of detroit.

What happened last time there was taxation without representation?

If you are poor, you shouldn't be blowing what little money you have on fast food.
