The width is good, but too high... if you move her name/car down even with the truck and crop it you may have a good look. Rework the brush stroke or whatever effect that is to make a light border with the map in the background and you maybe onto something. The pic of the truck is a little outta place, but that's not your fault, it's an over-exposed pic. And the font blows chunks. Other than that, looks pretty good.... like I said, I start out with one thing (like you got) then fine tune it until it's a refined sig that looks ultra purdy.

Come on D, rip on his "mad skillz" all you want but don't start rippin on my p-hotography. I can't help it that the sun was behind me, if I was on the other side of the truck I would have been in Lake St Clair.

Good start Jamz. Keep workin on it. Maybe move the truck more center (the bed gets lost in the border & thats the most destinguishing part). I do agree with D, the font needs to go. Thanks for all your hard work. I promise once I learn how to use my photoshop I'll do some sig work for you (by then you'll be laughing at my "mad skillz").

^^^
Not bad at all. Maybe with the user name more centered & in a little bigger &/or cleaner font (the letters kinda blur together for me).

Thanks for the work guys.

Jamz,
Your using PS8 right?
If so then select the layer of the truck and (Ctrl+t) then while holding the shift button grap the corner of the box that appeared around the truck and drag it to enlarge the truck. (note: hoding shift lets you enlarge it with out distorting it.) Also bring the truck all the way to the front.
If you'll right click on the text layers in the layers panel and go to Blending options then you can add a different colored stroke around the text to help it contrast with teh background as well as several other cool effects that you will have fun playing with.

But it's looking good!

I'm trying folks...and thnx for the input/tips. It's the only way I am gonna learn

PSS-Mag - I'm using Paint Shop Pro 8 (JASC), is that what you mean? I'm kinda getting the hang of what tool is what. I guess the more I play with it the more I'll learn.

rac you said something about blue being your favorite color.
What about this:

Colors?
Size?
Layout?
With or w/out the diamond press?
I dont wanna center the truck, because then it will Cover up Hazel Park. If I did that....you wouldnt be able to see the map for directions to your house.

Ok now that I'm back at work & can play online non-stop (except for the cruising I had to do in the Kia) here goes.

Looks good. Try switching the blue back to black & switch the letters from red to blue.

BTW, I think I see my house in that map.
