Has anyone sold on ebay?

Hello,

I am looking at selling my nerf bars and my MTX Thunderform so I can have alittle spare change and was wondering how difficult it is to sell over Ebay? I've been making purchases off ebay for a little while now and am ready to sell... any ideas or pointers? Thanks,

Scott

Ebay will walk you through everything you need to do to set up a seller account.

I've sold a few things on there and I would say the best thing to do is;
1. Clean the item to sell.
2. Take clear pictures. (i will put some items on a dark sheet or something that will make the item stand-out more when I take a picture of it).
3. Explain the item like you would explain it to a child.
4. State there is not warranty.
5. Answer your e-mails quickly.
6. Find out what shipping is in advance. This can make a big difference in profit. (also take into account paypal fees).
7. ONLY accept paypal or money orders.
8. State in you auction that you must be contacted with-in 24 hours after the auction by the buyer or you will re-list and post negative feedback.
9. Only ship after payment has been received.
10. Its easiest when you find out the shipping cost to just have it boxed up and ready to go as soon as you get paid.
11. Always, use a carrier that you can track your shipment to CYA.

I've bought and sold a ton of stuff on Ebay...

Knock on wood I haven't had any problems so far.

I have stuff that should be delivered either today or tomorrow, as a matter of fact.
