Winged sprinter.

Anyone running any form of a Ford powered sprint car?
Would like to hear about it if you do or know of anyone doing so.

Yea there's a guy that hang out in the engines and electrical sections that goes by Bluegrass... Give him a holler... He's as close to a genius as I have ever met.

Ohh it's you...

I've never ran winged sprint so if it's a regulations question I can't help. But anything else shoot it out here and maybe we can come up with something together.

We run a 358 4 barrel on alky.
Only 2 Fords at the track with all 350 chevs.
We are, by the rules making as much power and tend to make more low end.
Got the good N351 heads on a sportsman block with a Scat crank assembly. Can you say 500+ hp and lift the front end coming out of the turns?
Got rained out 2 of 4 weeks so far.
The class is called Super Sportsman.

I've never driven a Sprinter... But man they look and now sound like A LOT of fun. In my youth I use to drive the dirt roads just outside of town just so that I could slide sideways around the corners and kick up the dust.
Man I miss those days!
