How hot is the new Mustang?

Negative there NetBob. The new F-150 does not have the same 3V 4.6L like the new Mustang, IIRC. If it does, why the hell does it only make 231hp, and not 300hp like the 3V headed 4.6L in the new GT's? I'll research this some more...

The 4.6 in the Stang is a completely different animal. Guess I shouldn't believe everything I read, eh.
the difference between 4.6L in f150 and mustang is the number of valves and a different block (alloy vs iron).

Oh man...
My uncle had one JUST-LIKE-THAT.

Same color, same lettered tires, same wheels/hubcaps or whatever they were.. Same Green, same black stickers...
HE had teh louvers put on his back window...
I was about 5 or 6, and I STILL remember that car....
He traded it for a 1976 Bonneville Brougham Coupe, with the 455 barrell V-8- an awesome car in terms of something that big moving out... But, the Mustang, it wasn't..
I used to think that was teh fastest car on the planet!!! My aunt drove it into a ditch, and didn't even dent the bumper.. Not sideways into the ditch, nose first into a ditch. And, we didn't get hurt.. No seat belts or nothing!

When I bought my windveil Blue GT back in November. I had just stopped by Sarasota Ford to look at them. It was on a Saturday and they had a black GT on display. I literally stood there with a dozen people while three salesman went over the car, it was like a car show. I started chatting with some of the other customers. They took five GT orders in one hour at full retail. My salesman had mine sold but the guy backed out at the last minute, I had to put up $500 to test drive it. The salesman called me when it arrived, I drove it and bought it within an hour of it being there. There was no fewer than 5 people right behind me, one person tried to buy it with cash while I was signing papers.
I read an aritcle yesterday that said Ford is increasing production of the Mustang by 70% for 2006. It was a trade publication at my mechanics shop.
