Did you know the hole in the ozone layer is actually shrinking
Burt is right, there is no hole in the ozone layer and there never was. The same retard that said there was a hole just came out with a book this year that says we have used either 1/3 or 2/3 ( I can't remember which ) of the worlds natural resources.

Yeah, what's up with the Excursion now?

I dislike environmentalist FREAKS. My neighbor is one. When she introduced herself to me, the first thing she said was, "Hi, I'm so-and-so, and I'm a tree hugger."

How about everything sent into the air when one of the environmentalists burns a gas-guzzling v8 SUV? Or when they sabatoge a construction site in order to 'save the environment'

When all that is happening around us but the average temperatures continue to rise (and we're talking about 1° every century or something to that affect) how can they blame it on emissions? I personally believe that Global Warming has less to do with man made pollution and more to do with Mother Nature, maybe she's hit Menopause, damn hot flashes!!

Mine actually yelled at me for watering my lawn. Said I was a bad parent and "citizen of the planet".

Bah....we haven't talked since. That winter we got nailed with a good 2 feet of snow. I took out my blower and cleared my driveway, and two elderly women for free. I figured she loved water so much I left her frozen water right where it was.

Watering the lawn; isn't that taking care of the environment?

If these people want to see just how far auto makers have come in regards to reducing emissions, then let me fire up my '69 Tbird, built BEFORE these emissions laws. NO smog pump, NO catylitic converters. Just the engine and two huge pipes out the a$$.

I'll back her up to one of their houses and run a hose from the tailpipes into their living room and rev her up a few times. That'll show 'em!

There is no “proven” global warming and there is no hole in the ozone. Scientist have stated that there never was a hole or if there was there is no longer a hole.
What scientist said there was never a hole in the ozone layer?
There is a hole in the ozone layer, and it is shrinking; HOWEVER, their is more to the 'hole' story.
First off, emissions from our V8s have noting to do w/ the ozone layer - that's gloabl warming. The hole in hte ozone layer was related to chloroflourocarbons (CFCs).

The hole in the ozone layer occurs every year during respective winter in the northern and southern hemisphere. To produce ozone sunlight is required. When their is no sunlight in the polar regions during the winter months, the ozone layer thins out and develops a 'hole'. During the summer months, the layer typically repairs itself. For a few years the holes did not get fully patched. After CFCs were taken out of aerosol cans, the extra damage to the ozone layer appears to have been minimized.

Then give me my R12 refrigerant back! Does anyone else remember how much heat that stuff removed? OMG 134a 45* - R12 was 35* 10 degrees cooler! Dont have to run the AC as long to cool the cab thus saving gas. Whats bad about that? Not to mention it is heavier than air so it did not make it to the Ozone layer anyway... I can go on and on about the BS that has been shoved up our Butts on this and the other false "enviromental" claims from past to present. If you think about most of what your being told, then you start to realize that there is rarely any commen since involved.
