whats my dealer doing to me??

I dropped my 04 f150 Supercrew off at the dealer at 7 in the morning on Monday for a list of things bad on it, from the rear end bad, to 2 water leaks, vibration..ect...make a long story short, the dealer printed out "6 PAGES" of work orders that need to be done to my truck! The service maneger told me he would call me before 5pm Monday to tell me how the progress is doing. I never heard from him back and it's now Wednesday! I have tried to call him 3 times already and he is not returning my calls! The dealer I took it to is about 15 miles away and I really don't feel like I want to run out there and get into a fight with this guy and plus they gave me a Ranger that had no gas in it, so I don't want to put anymore gas into it then I have to on there part!
Obviously since they kept it now for 3 days, they have to be doing somethign to it and I want to know what! I tried to get a hold of other service manegers and they told me they cannot help me since I'm not dealing with them?? I'm pissed off cause I have no idea what there doing to my truck! My luck, they probably crashed it up and are trying to fix it now or something! Who knows!

What would you do if you had your truck at the dealer and the service maneger is now ignoring you??

I'd be checking up on that truck at least daily IN PERSON!

Turn off the computer, take that Ranger back to them and find out what they are doing to your truck!

sounds like you have a lemon in the making.
take copious notes, document everything.
complain like hell, chase it up the chain of command to the
owner, corporate office, etc.
Dealers will go out of their way for you in order to get
a good service.

It's hard to ignore 6'1" and 295 pounds of pi$$ed off black man in your face.

That's what he'd have seen on day two. He's not so busy that he can't return calls, or have someone call you~ I don't buy it.

You gotta watch those idiots.

True story: Classic Honda.
We had a Honda years ago that we took in for service. We lived in Killeen and Cleo Bay Hoda was incredibly expensive, so we took an early trip to Roundrock. Of course, we waited on the car since we didn't know anyone in that town, and there was very little around the dealership at the time..

The new Accords ('97) had hit the lot- so the wife & I got bored and decided to walk around to see the other cars. We looked down the road and here comes a car just like ours, flying (North bound on the I-35 service road). I thought to myself- Look at how that idiot is driving.

He wheeled it into the drive way, and kept rolling. I said- "That looks just like my car- same rims and everything.." I was in denial but my legs took over and shuffled me to the service department in great haste. We got there in time to see this snot-nosed hispanic kid (Who was a service tech there) get out of my car with breakfast for it seemed, everyone on his team. We were there bright & early, like #3 in line and we'd been there over an hour if not two, and my car hadn't been touched, aside for the brutal trip to Burger King & back.

The sergeant came right out of me at that point, and I went off! (My wife was a Sergeant too, so they really got it that day; besides- it was her car.)

When all was said & done, our 30,000 miles $490.00 service cost us $180.00.

I should've really showed my butt and got it for free...

Nothing against Classic, that could have happened anywhere- all I'm saying is- that's your truck- you'd be ill-advised not to watch them like a hawk.

They won't call if they know they've screwed up...
They usually do a good job with my trucks (Ford) and I have yet to receive a service survey.

Good God an 04 with that many problems? Isn't 14 items considered a lemon or something?

I already have the lemon law on file...my attorney told me if anythign more happends to the truck in the meantime, I should keep taking to the dealer and just keep mailing the paper work to her...I filed this about 1 1/2 weeks ago, so it should take abotu 2 1/2 months before ford comes back with a settlement. It's a lot of hassle, but I never told the dealer about me filing for a lemon, (they don't need to know that) and I'm sure they would give me a hard time about it. I want to get out of this one and back into another f150 thats near flawless like the rest

I would definitely check on it in person. That is total horse sh$t that they are not returning your calls. I have to ask, if you don't mind, what stealerships have you been going to. My dad just bought a truck and he lives around Cleveland. I guess I am curious who is treating you like sh$t. Hope your luck turns around.

The lemon law requires the car to fail from the same mechanical failure three times in a 12-month period.

If the steering arm snaps, tranny falls out, then the drive shaft comes through the floorboard- you just have a bad truck, not a lemon...

But, if the drive shaft somes through the floor three times in 12-months- you get a new truck- as long as it's documented...

I'd notify the BBB as well.

The name on of this dealer is "Ganley Ford west")

Ohio lemon law says this

Section 1345.73
It shall be presumed that a reasonable number of attempts have been undertaken by the manufacturer, its dealer, or its authorized agent to conform a motor vehicle to any applicable express warranty if, during the period of one year following the date of original delivery or during the first eighteen thousand miles of operation, whichever is earlier, any of the following apply:
Substantially the same nonconformity has been subject to repair three or more times and continues to exist;

The vehicle is out of service by reason of repair for a cumulative total of thirty or more calendar days;

There have been eight or more attempts to repair any nonconformity that substantially impairs the use and value of the motor vehicle to the consumer;

There has been at least one attempt to repair a nonconformity that results in a condition that is likely to cause death or serious bodily injury if the vehicle is driven, and the nonconformity continues to exist.
