Trip to Florida costs $624 for gas!!!!
I can see why the roads out here in California are pretty good. We mainly SIT on them, as opposed to any sort of movement.
I must agree, though, I have always felt PA had horrible roads. They don't seem to deal with the freeze/thaw very well. It's a big state, so I'm sure it's quite a chore. Still frustrating.

Hey bro.. You don't have to schitt on the entire state. You can blame it on the Philly area. I just returned to Pittsburgh after living in Jersey for the past 9 years and I can tell you from experience, STAY THE H3LL OUT OF PHILLY!!! You'll lose an a couple coilovers and axles. Next time, past throught Pittsburgh. We take care of our schitt around here.

I can't wait to see what my milage is like on my road trip to Baton Rouge in 2 weeks!! My calculations show I should blow $260 bucks in gas round trip. Me thinks you had a lead foot + a good amount of weight (both in the truck & behind it) + reduced arodynamics = **** poor milage. I think your 8mpg is insane, however...

That sucks about the gas milage. I can't beleive that you got only 200 miles out of a tank of gas. How many miles do you get when you are not towing? Hopefully more like 350 to 400 miles. I am not trying to be a smart *** here, but if you want to drive the worse roads in the US, then you need to drive in Louisiana, which was voted #1 worse roads by truckers a couple years ago. I believe that Louisiana is proud of that too.
200 miles on a tankful isn’t much. I’m assuming you have a 26 gal tank so you probably have a couple of gallons left when you fill up but I would think you should at least be getting around 300/350 miles on a tankful towing.
I have lived in PA all of my life and the only nice roads around are in SE PA and Pittsburgh area. The rest of state is junk when it comes to road surfaces and pot holes. The garages around this area specialize in ball joint replacements and front end alignments. I wonder why that is....

Yea, we in PA got hosed by this new turnpike. The concrete was supposed to last 15 years and it's lasted 3! They're re-doing it so now we have to put up with Orange Barrels for the next two years.
I just moved here from Ohio but PA is a beautiful State....

Triton, dont take it personal. Everyone from above the Mason-Dixon line is a Yankee (as long as you are visiting). If you decide to stay here youre called a "Damn Yankee"!
