I drive right through Orillia almost every Friday night on the way up to the cottage (another hour 1.45 north of Orillia). I'm ice fishing this weekend we have a hut out. About 18 to 20 inches of ice.

I see tons of trucks out on the ice. I just don't want to risk it cause I know it won't be insured if something happend. (It would be my luck.) I know 20 inches is more then enough. I see the odd dump truck with plow out on the lake. Ploughing a lane to the ice huts.

when the ice starts to crack, run for dry land. Hop on a cell phone and report your truck stolen...

That's what my insurance guy told me to say. (He's a friend of mine) He told me theres loop hole for when your truck goes through the ice..apparently when the truck goes through or snowmobile or ATV as soon as it makes contact with the bottom it's considered a collison?? (I'm not really wanting to try this, cause I don't believe it. I don't trust insurance companies)

Ice Fishing

The "REAL MEN" around here in Central Pennsylvania use roadkill as bait when they go ice fishing, the more it stinks, the more discusting the road kill looks, the better the bait. I know no city, sissy, mommys boy man would touch road kill.

You win the biggest *** member award for being just that.
I'm thinking you may be way to in touch with your feminine side, so get your hand out of your pants and accept your F-150 biggest *** member award. and shove this where the sun don't shine>>>>>

I am no city sissy or mommys boy and i sure won't be using road kill for bait anytime soon, and i don't think doing so would make anyone more of a man!! I wouldn't know how good it would work on my lake, and i don't know many people who would give up the normal bait for road kill. But whatever works i guess, someone would eventually try it sooner or later. What have they been catching with the roadkill???

Many of the REAL MEN here use beer cans to make lures, and it works somewhat. But it only works for REAL MEN.......does this sound familiar???
