RockPick don't listen to these guys. You don't have to go reading other threads, trust me.
The Mason jar is clear glass, you can easily see that it is empty.
There is absolutely no danger in opening the jar.
Go ahead and open it when it arrives.
If you are nervous about opening it, maybe you should take it iinside a closet first, shut the door and have someone block the door with a large piece of furniture for safety.
