Hillary as President............

Hillary as president?

Hillary Clinton is elected President and is spending her first night in the White House. She has waited so long...

The ghost of George Washington appears, and Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"

Washington says, "Never tell a lie."

"Ouch!" Says Hillary, "I don't know about that."

The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson appears. Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"

Jefferson says, "Listen to the people."

"Ohhh! I really don't want to do that."

On the third night, the ghost of Abe Lincoln appears. Hillary says, "How can I best serve my country?"

Lincoln says, "Go to the theater.

Dan

Lets hope it doesn't turn into a female vs male thing. Men are numbered plus women have this strange power over us ....

But don't discredit the fact that she will get many votes just because she is a female.

That's exactly the kind of ignorance / arrogance HC and her people are counting on.

She is setting herself up beautifully right now to be the democratic candidate. If you have been paying attention, she is slowly evolving her image to be the most conservative dem. in many a great year(s). She is on the armed services committee and and has received praise from the likes of Newt Gingrich, who described her as hard hitting, driven, and incredibly intelligent and a capable member of the committee, stating that he was impressed by her and her support of our troops and her stance against terrorism. Said she was more aware of issues than others he has seen on the committee, that she has a firm grasp of what is going on. Recent stories on CNN about her statements about the importance of faith based initiatives, et. al. To read and hear about her you'd think she was one of the top Republican Senators . . . and that's exactly what she wants and the direction she will continue to head. She will slowly begin to appeal to many republican women because of her apparent stances on issues, she will always appeal to democratic women, her new conservative like image, along with conservative female support will make conservative male voters take notice, and democratic men will love her because she's a democratic female, and they will remember the Clinton years and yearn for the good old days.

It won't matter if you love her or hate her. She will be a very tough opponent. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HER. If you do, she'll beat you.

Here is what's scary.
The Republicans will convince Jeb Bush to run against her and this will guarantee one thing:

It will have been a quarter of a century since we elected a President that didn't have the last name Bush or Clinton.

...and we laugh at England because they have a Queen.

How dare you bring Elton John into this

Anyhoo, I think if Hillary runs in 2008, the Republicans will put Condi up as their opponent to even things out.

My prediction for 2008, Condi with Rudi Gulianni as Veep.

kobiahi has a good point, I didn't think that carpet bagging ***** would be able to get elected senator here in NY (didn't help the Rudy Guliani had to pull out of that race) but she did, and not just b/c of that cesspool downstate she lied and charmed a lot of dumb upstate voters too.
