I agree with your personal responsability philosophy. At the same time, we can't be so niave as to think that a persons environment does not lend to his behavior. I can see Hillary's point about the village, but that does not exhonerate the individual or place blame on the village. In the end, a criminal should pay for their crimes, I really don't care if your mom didn't hold you often enough, but we should learn from these things to prevent them in the future. Criminal punishment is not enough to deter future crimes.

 

I really dislike her b/c I feel that she has no business being a senator for New York State. She swept in here, made a lot of promises and all the desperate dumb jerks upsate thought she gave a rat's a$$ about them. Guess what, she's just using the state as a stepping stone (it's the RFK plan) and even if she did give a damn about NYS she sure wouldn't bother with upsate when it pays a lot more to suck up to NYC. I have to agree that she is more palatable to me than John Kerry though.

 

All I can say is when she was 1st lady she went to Turkey, landed at an American base, where I was stationed and she was a b$%^& toward the military people. She was great with the secret service but you could tell she did not like the military by her additude toward them, not realizing it was the military who was keeping her butt alive not the secret service.

Whats the old adage keep you rfriends close and your enemies closer. She's on the Armed Services Committee to make it look like she supports the military.
