The intelligent person will see through her recent attempts to go right and realize that she is a flip-flopper attempting to gain as much power as possible. Gee kind of sounds like another recent presidential candidate we had.

I do agree that if she is underestimated she could win. Right now the Republicans don't have a real front runner for the 08 elections.

Why can't the governor of Florida run against her?

If Jeb just won't do it, what about Neil?
He could reform Social Security with his eyes closed.

Hillary has been hanging out with Nancy Reagan. They have become best friends and Hillary is about to state ”Tear down this wall” cept she is not sure what wall to tear down so she has been hanging out with Rush Limbaugh for some pointers. Guess she has been a closet Rush Limbaugh fan for some time now.

When Hillary gets the nerve to tell Kennedy to shut the hell up or move his terrorist supporting butt out of America I may have to consider my vote going to Hillary.

Hillary, you go girl…

Rice has never held elected office, so she is not a good choice (yet) for the top of the ticket. Should she be VP or get elected senator someday (would love to see her beat BOXER!) she will be a great choice for president around 2016 or so.

Her future strength as a national candidate is part of the reason the media and democrats are trying so hard to marginalize her today.

Whoever is the top of the Republican ticket in '08 (Rudi is a good choice), Conde is the logical choice as the VP to negate the Hillary factor.

IMO, Hillary is the clear favorite to win her party's nomination in '08, and her '08 presidential campaign is already underway.

But don't discredit the fact that she will get many votes just because she is a female.
She can't count on the female vote. She is quite polarizing amongst women, many hate her just as much as others love her.

And besides, everyone knows that chicks hate other chicks (there is some seriousness in that statement)

Said she was more aware of issues than others he has seen on the committee, that she has a firm grasp of what is going on. Recent stories on CNN about her statements about the importance of faith based initiatives, et. al. To read and hear about her you'd think she was one of the top Republican Senators . . . and that's exactly what she wants and the direction she will continue to head. She will slowly begin to appeal to many republican women because of her apparent stances on issues, she will always appeal to democratic women, her new conservative like image, along with conservative female support will make conservative male voters take notice, and democratic men will love her because she's a democratic female, and they will remember the Clinton years and yearn for the good old days.

It won't matter if you love her or hate her. She will be a very tough opponent. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HER. If you do, she'll beat you. [/B]
As much as I dislike the entire Clinton Clan and would NEVER vote for her, I have to agree with Kobiashi.

That right there is key. To underestimate her would be fatal. She is not a stupid woman and quite frankly a very intelligent and politically savvy. I personal feel it was her excellent understanding of politics that got Bill Clinton into the Oval office. Yes Clinton is a great speaker but I honestly feel it was Hillary who was responsible for him getting there in the first place.

The American public in general suffers from attention deficit syndrome, in other words a large majority of Americans can’t remember a damn thing that happen a few months ago let alone 4 years ago. The American public in general just doesn’t give a damn about politics or what makes this country tick.

Therefore, the majority of them will have no clue what the hell happen over 4 years ago. How many remember the huge debacle over Hillary care. She basically got her *** handed to her and few remember the government take over attempt at American medicine.

For probably the last 15 years or so our President’s have been elected based on sound bites and perception. Remember Bill Clinton and ”I feel your pain” That’s all the majority of the public needed to hear and then their mind told them ”He really cares about us.”

Hillary is a very intelligent woman and is positioning herself to be a moderate with a slight right slant and that is who the majority of the public elects. The majority of the American public will never elect a known liberal and they will never elect someone that has no regard for our countries security and that is one big reason Kerry lost and one big reason Hillary is in the armed services committee. Absolutely intelligent in not only logics but politics…

Hillary, you go girl…

You know . . . what with the waning popularity of the royal family, I think you all need a new Queen.

Elton looks like he fits the bill.

Y'all heard about her fainting yesterday? It seems she suffered an attack of vertigo while spinning 180 degrees around her 'core beliefs'

Burt, EXCELLENT points, I don't think she'll be the candidate though (I would rather her than Kerry again). As far as the flip flopping, EVERY politician changes their mind, and the Republicans have been using that tactic since the 1970's. This is the first time it worked well. They actually had an agenda to make McCain look "Erratic" when he was the Dem front-runner.

Aside from having different beliefs than those of you that hate her, and being liberal on most issues, what has that woman done to make you hate her so much? It's not like she's a mass murderer or child molesta or anything.

For me I don’t hate Hillary and actually give her credit for being one of the best politician ever as well as being very intelligent. She knows how to work the system and does it well.

I don’t agree with many of her beliefs or positions and I believe some of her core beliefs, that she is afraid to admit to, are quite radical, for example ”It takes a village”. That is really at the core of her belief system and what it means is no one person is ever responsible for their actions and/or choices they make in life but rather everybody else is and is expected to assist those that make the wrong decision time and time again.

My belief system is the opposite in that it does not nor should it ever ”take a village” but rather ”it takes an individual”. Don’t misunderstand me because I do believe and subscribe to team work. I believe team work is the core and foundation to any successful achievement and sports is a good example of that.

However, you do not have successful team work unless all the ”individuals” are doing their part and taking responsibility for their own actions to contribute to the rest of the team. It just doesn’t work if any one individual is not doing their part. Take a football team, if everyone but one offensive guard is doing their part the quarterback is not going to be real successful because there were be a few times the quarterback will not be able to fulfill his obligations of throwing the ball down the field if he is laying on his butt on the ground after being sacked by the a defensive lineman that the offensive guard let go by.

At the moment I do believe Hillary will be one of the front runners for the democratic nominee in 2008 and I do believe she will be a formidable candidate and if the republicans believe otherwise or underestimate here they will not win come 2008.

Hillary will make Kerry look like a child in an adults world come 2008. Kerry is just not President material, never has been and never will be, were as Hillary is President material, she has the potential of becoming President because she is a talented politician and I for one am not going to underestimate her.

Slow down burt.
If you have already made up your mind to vote for her that's your right but, I'd like to see the rest of the field before I commit.
