If this forums response to every Q was "use the search feature" then whats the point of having a technical forum? This forum is dedicated to solving problems with todays issues in trucks.. and since there are only a certain amount of things that can go wrong, and only a certain amount of time that everything that CAN go wrong, will go wrong... i guess after a few months, maybe years, every possible question will have been answered, and thus... leaving this board useless.... i agree, questions like "where is my oil filter" and "what type of oil should i use" are kind of boring questions, and have been answered many times, and quite frankly, oil usage is explained in your user manual... tells you what to use, if you are experiencing a problem with thin oil, and you think thicker oil would work better, then do so.. other than that? stick with the factory reccomendation... but a lot of people want real-time answers.... not answers to a question from 7 months ago... maybe there are new users that have more information to share, or maybe people have been recently experimenting with new ideas on how to do things... this is why we refresh the ideas as we need them... to ensure things are "up to date" with current times and needs.... wait till the 04s and 05s start getting old.... hell, people have issues with them already... wonder why , but thats what this board is about... posting new challenges and old trivia in an attempt to excercise our minds..... just my $0.02... no flame intended, just hoping to open your mind as to why these threads seem "asinine" to you.

It's like getting a drink of water from a fire hydrant!

im relaxed, i just took a slight step back when you mentioned the posts being "asinine"... it just made me feel like my questions and comments were too... "common folk" for you... i didnt mean to come off as being arrogant or loud about it. I just want to make sure im welcome here, and if my posts seem to be too boring or rudimentary... maybe something can be changed... this seems to be my problem with boards, i have a million friends in the outside world, and im the same person here as i am online, i guess with absence of tone of voice, and body language its hard to get my points across without seeming "belligerant" about it. One thing i can assure you guys is im not in any way trying to act like im better than anyone, or that my opinion means more, or that im out to start a war with anyone who opposes me... just love to argue and argument is how you learn the finer side of things..

the thing thats funny about it, is someone actually went through the time it took to make that pic happen... someone saw a dead cat on the road, thought of the idea to take a pic of it, and made a sign, and went back to put it on film.... either that? or someone seriously killed the cat, and put the sign up, and someone just HAD to take the pic of it...... funniest disaster on film! lol

Lots of people carry cameras in their cars just for reasons like this.

Whoever took it did not necesarrily go through any extra effort.

Yes you sure do love to argue. And arguing about something usually gets you nowhere and gets you into trouble. You haven't even been here a month and are already trying to challenge the moderation of this site as in the other thread that got closed
