two things you said make me think your not happy. "my wife thinks shes a princess or something, its all about her" and "shes beautiful, knows it, can get any man she wants." Doesnt sound like a healthy marriage if thats the way you view your wife. Sounds like u need to kick her pampered *** to the curb and dont let her use ur truck to haul her crap outta the house.

Not necessarily, have you ever driven a Lightning with the Goodyear F1’s? You would be “extremely” lucky to get 40,000 miles out of them. It all depends on the tires compound…

Right, but my point was what type of tires does he have? What type of compound? Some tires will last for 40,000 miles while others, like Goodyear, last 15,000 miles or so…

 

I guess I would like to know what kind of tires he has on his truck that he only gets 20,000 miles out of. Because I want to make sure that I never buy a set.

 

Don't buy cooper discovery H/T's they suck, I've gotten like 17k out of them and I need new ones.

My guess is it's not the truck she's worried about. She said you care more about your truck than you care about her. I think it has something to do with you and her not spending quality time together. Tires and toolboxes don't matter; she's just not getting something from you that she believes she deserves. Maybe it is true that lately you've been concentrating on your truck more, and to her it seems like you're overlooking her. Possibly there is something bothering her that she would like to talk to you about, but since you're so 'occupied' she might not feel you are available to discuss things with.

If I were you, Moto, I'd go up to my wife and and tell her, "It seems like something is bothering you, and I know it's not my truck. Is there something you want to talk about with me?"

She'll be so impressed. And trust me.. it's not the truck.

After they get done yelling and screaming and return to as close to normal as they will ever be. Have them curl up next to you on the couch with a glass of wine and gently, very gently, approach the subject of how they had an episode of being a psychopath and they will probably even agree with you. Then at that point say the wrong thing and they are spooled up again. Most of them go thru life spring loaded to the pissed off position whenit comes to a husband. They will tolerate anything from a female friend but hubby look out.

That's my view and as long as she does not catch me typing this everything will be fine.

Oh, one other thing.

Every one knows why doctors slap babies on the butt right? For those that don't, it's to knock the pecker$ off the stupid ones.

Anyway, if that is truly the situation, where she is keeping you on a string, leach, what ever you want to call it with the ”I can get any man I want” then you really need to think about cutting that string or leach because, in my opinion, it will not get better and will only degrade.

Therefore you have to look at her like an investment, a stock option, or a vehicle. If you stock is losing money how long are you going to hold on to it until it’s worth nothing. If it is a vehicle, how much money you going to dump into it until you realize you could have bought 2 brand new vehicles?

See my point? How much of your time and life are you going to invest in this relationship before she eventual leaves?

If you think this relationship is worth saving then you might want to consider counseling if not cut your losses now because it really sounds like its only going to get worse…
