Gas Prices?
$1.10/L or more (about $4.35/gallon by my quick mental math) in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada...$0.70/L ($2.75/gallon) if I get one of my friends with a Native Status Card to fill my truck up in six nations down the road

I live in a town that boarders the native reserve, where they have cheap gas, tobacco and fireworks galore. Gas on the res is cheaper than anywhere else even without a status card, and I could buy a bag of 300 cigarettes for $5 if I wanted to (and if I was 19
). Goes to show you how much of fuel is taxes.

They also get paid to go to school, free or cheap collage/university, no duty on tobacco or alcohol, health benefits etc. etc. etc. because hundreds of years ago the "white people" screwed over the native people. My neighbor just had a baby who is 1/8th native...she gets a status card and mom and dad don't pay for school.

Sometimes I go with a friend that has a card.
In town $3.19 for 87
$3.25 for 89
$3.37 for 93
diesel is $3.62
Over in MN, 2.99 for 87
3.02 for 89
3.15 for 92
diesel 3.44
I just filled up both trucks this weekend. My 94 has both tanks at 1/4 or a little less that cost me $101.24. My 04 was at just under 1/2 tank and that was $57.72. Plus the 3 cans of 93 oct and 1 can of race fuel for the wheelers which was 83.51. For a grand total of $242.47 for gas in 2 days time, the only good thing is that I shouldn't have to get gas for either truck for about a month and for the wheelers until probably june or july.

Ya, same here, only I have to run premium at $1.19/l then. One way or the other, it's still ridiculously overpriced. I can't believe in the 8 years I've had this thing gas would double in price. It makes me sound like I'm 80 when I tell people in 98 when I started driving my dad's truck, gas was $0.48/l, so for 60 bucks, I filled his tanks to the top, 120 l. WHERE'S THE LOGIC BEHIND THIS, SOMEONE TELL ME.
