I filled up today after being on fumes. I have the 35.7 gallon tank and put 32 gallons in it.
I had to work to fill it up and spend my money at the gas station. I hit $75.00 and it stopped pumping. I knew it wasnt full, so I took my reciept and swiped my bank card again. It said that I couldnt use my card again. I drove across to the end pump and put another $18 in the tank for a total of $93. Dont know what the point of the auto stop is. I paid with a debit card, so I had a pin and it shouldnt have been a theft issue.

Think I paid $2.89 at Exxon. The stations around there were up at $2.99 and others down the road were $3.14. I cant complain about the price of gas. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the truck.

Let's see here I am only paying $1.22!!

Per litre and lets see...... there is 3.78 Litres in a US gallon that equals......... $4.61 Canadian and with our high dollar right now that is equivalent to $4.24 a gallon. and you think you are taking it hard with gas prices. I have bruises around my ankles already from bending over and taking it in the **** when ever I fill up, and its only May.

Don't know...but when your truck is taking 30 - 34 gallons of diesel, it pisses you off quick.

My last fill up was $170 US, $183 Canadian.
88 liters
23.3 gallons

This was at the Tango (Tank and Go) self pump station.
Tango stations always give you a 8-10 eurocents per liter discount.
That equals to about $.45 a gallon.

Tango were the first gasstations doing something for the customer.
The stations are a succes and I am loyal to them.
Shortly after Royal Dutch Shell came with their version, the Tinq gasstations with even more (+1 Cent) discount.

I am passing Shell, BP, Esso en Texaco pumps to fill up @ Tango.

Some credit cards have safeties that prevent a certain amount to be charged at one time at a gas station.

Next time, just give your card to the cashier, and they will debit whatever amount you want. Just go over what you think you will use, they will only charge you what you pump.

Defeats the purpose of pay at the pump and me using my debit card.

Most I ever put in my 02 7.3 (I miss her) was $80. My 150 has the 35.7 gallon tank, so I get myself in the same boat. Regular unleaded has surpassed diesel prices pretty much everywhere around here.

Haha... I bought my F-250 in Illinois, where diesel was about $3.59 at the time. It cost me $100 to fill up, cause I didn't think I could drive 300 miles to Missouri on 1/8th of tank...

diesel is cheaper than 87 here too. btw, one of the stations here stops the pump at $50. i dont go there though. i mainly get gas from a valero or citgo. during the summer, the citgo 10min from my house ussualy has gas $.25 or more cheaper than anywhere else, but they get a bunch of trafic from boaters going to heber springs.
