I have found solutions for many pieces of equipment that are not supported on the Mac. The Beauty of OS X is that with open source, there are groups and individuals developing these solutions. For example ... I have been using a BlackBerry phone for the past two months and have only ever synced it with the PowerBook. I have been using Cell Phone cards with PowerBooks for the past two years that Verizon, Apple, nor the manufacturer supports ... but these third party solutions are very capable and for the most part FREE or a minimal charge.

Wasn't the guy who invented Apple a liberal? Sure seems like a typical liberal slogan...

Apple vs. PC posts tend to get uglier than even the political ones!

So long as you know how to use a computer, they're all about the same. Sure, there are differences, but for the average user it doesn't really matter.

Used to be on PCs, but I work in a "creative" industry so everything is Macs, and I can get free software, so Mac it is.

Haven't used a PC since Win98, but I can tell you that I never power-off my PowerBook (just close the cover), it never crashes, and it's so easy to use even an idiot like me can set up a wireless network.

I plugged it in and it worked. I'm sure PCs are just as easy to use now, too.

I don't want a computer that I have to think about using. I'll leave that to you smart people

One great thing about Macs: you can avoid Microsoft apps entirely if you really want to! That should be worth something...

While my Macs (home and office) really never crash, the only apps on my machines that crash are - you guessed it - made by Microsoft: Entourage, Word, Exel and Powerpoint.

Oh, and chicks on airplanes love my "Mini Me" powerbook. Oh, it's great being single again...
