5: Why are you panicked and/or depressed over this? It's just a car.

PS: take the car to the car wash & take the back seat out & vacuum it real good to get all the glass out.
I have a plastic table cloth over it, and the car right now is sitting in the auto glass repair shop parking lot. I know that it will get replaced, and that's not really my main concern...

I don't think you understand my feelings about the... yellow twinkie on wheels. I hate it so badly, I've had so many bad experiences with it. I honest to God hate it with a passion!!! Yeah, "lots of other people ride it" but they are all middle school immature son of a ____ little $%#@*s!!!! I'm sorry, I just really, really, really, really, really loathe it. This is my only school year I've been able to do with out it, and it really sucks that I can't drive this week. At least til thurs maybe.

He is taking it a little rough, I agree. I look at it this way...no car = no class! What's the problem? Milk this puppy as long as you can! Hell, tell your teachers you were in the car when the limb fell and you're scared to drive again!
umm, I need to clarify a few things, LOL!

I am a she.

I am in high school.... I am only 'allowed' to miss 5 days. I need at least 1 day for checking out after finals this semester.

tues-fri this week is four days... hmmmm!!!!!!! lol

If you were 18, there would be a few more options.

I would be the first person calling the glass shop tomorrow and let them know your concerns. Don't be an a$$, but let them know you're underage and your rents are out of town and that it's your only transportation. Keep in mind, they're going to be SLAMMED tomorrow with glass claims. Also, keep in mind that a tropical storm just came through your area...nothing is handled quickly after a storm like that...plus, the shop and the shop owners are going to have their own personal issues to deal with (wives yapping to get the yard cleaned up, etc.).

Good luck.

Have a nanner and wait patiently.
I never thought of getting an adult to rent a car for me... but I dont think that'll work.... How much would renting a car cost??

my dad already told me he was going to call the glass shop when they opened tomorrow...so he's gonna call me and tell me what the scoop is. I hate this.

Sorry FL! Chalk another one up to generalization. I haven't seen your posts enough to know you were a chick.

Just hang in there, you'll be back on the road in no time.

I have an update!! I just phoned the girl down the street, told her what was happening. She said she'd give me a ride any time I needed one, and I was like THANK YOU!!! lol. Turns out it was her birthday, so it was all jolly and happy. So, she said she'd pick me up tomorrow around 7:40,, so cool. I feel a LOT better...just took some courage,,,

They look pretty deep, but who knows... I think it's from an animal or something, right at the bottom of my door.
