Hey Beannie!! Just think, this thread was started by a mommy & welcoming a biker... two birds with one stone!

So bean-man, thinkin' about gettin' a F150 or just hangin' around for the good conversation?

Hey there Bean, Nice truck, looks clean. Good to see that. The bike is pretty sweet also. Ive been struglin with the idea of getting one. Only problem is I'm a speed freak and really afraid I would kill myself on it.

One question...which one are you, the one with the leaves on his head?, the guy laying down with the top hat on? or the one giving the finger?

LOL, guy giving the finger!

Bikes aren't for everyone, if you truly believe, and i mean TRULY, believe you'll let that throttle get the best of you, then you're probably better of not doing it. Or at least, start small, like a Ninja 250 (if sportbikes are your thing anyway), whereas you can't really do much more than 90. And that's a 90 revving the crap out of it!

And if you do get one, watch out for TRUCKS!

Sorry Beannie - you seem real cool, other than your confusion about bikes and you are a fellow Ma$$hole!!!!!

I'm actually happy I'm freakishly tall and can't drive sports cars or bikes. I know I'd build up the guts & skills and just want to run full-bore all the time. I can almost guarentee I would turn into the bikers I hate. You know, the ones I run off the road? j/k.

Nice truck, man. And even nicer bike. You know, a screamin' yellow FX4 would be the perfect bike hauler.

BAWAHAHAHAHAH! Hate to break it to you, but many Harley guys harbor a secret wish to fly on crotch rockets. The only reason they don't is because they're either:

1. don't want to look bad in front of their other harley friends
2. just too damn "big"

But here's a "cute" Harley run in I had this past weekend:

So, while riding around east-bum**** CT yesterday (and I went alone because I stopped and took pictures for three hours), I pulled up next to a pack of cruisers at a stop light. So, we look at each other, nod, smile, light turns green, and I punch it, and all of a sudden, I look in my rearview only to see some old dude right on my *** in the lane to my right. So I slow down, let him blow by me, and at the next stoplight, I pull up next to him, and he yells out, "Thanks for making me look good!" As he did so, his buddies pulled (some with hot chicks on back) up, and we all had a good laugh!

It's the one's that are a-holes to sportbikers that suck, but then again, there are an equal amount of 16 year old punks that make us sportbikers look bad...

Wow, you REALLY are insensitive! LOL!

So, are you like, Lurch on Addams family tall?

I dunno about the yellow FX4 though with the yellow bike in the back, that might cross the fence if ya catch my drift....

I gotta side with Beanman on this one. When & If I get a bike, it ain't gonna be a Harley. I can't stand those no-pipe loud as hell 'I'm billy bad-***' bikes. Bleh! Plus, the good Harley name has been soiled just like the sport bikes due to morons owning the product. Such a shame. Damn General population ruins everything.

I'd really like a BMW bike... mmmmm....

EDIT: How tall was Lurch? I gotta be pretty close if not taller than him. I'm 6'10" and some change FLAT FOOT. An easy 6'11" in shoes. D'oh! It sucks tryin' to buy something you really want (ie, a CAR, bike, clothes, etc..). However, I wouldn't trade my gargantuan proportions for anything..

The new bike comes in a year or two once I can afford to pay off some of the truck and this stupid ring problem I am going to have (women and sparkling stones! damn!)
The bike will most likely be the Buell Firebolt. A really slick bike, harley engine but a lot of solid engineering and cool design features. The plan was this year, but my old SUV broke down and it was bike or new truck.
Killer bike though. Flat torque band, fuel tank in frame, computer controlled butterfly exhaust...
Also looked at an R1, but at 6'4 (slightly shorter than my abnormal friend D) its a little tough to be on a bike like that for any length of time.
