Being sensitive to terrorists
Being sensitive to terrorists
This is from Neal Boortz's website, pretty funny:
Ten Suggestions for a Sensitive War on Terror
Joe Mariani
...it looks as though John Kerry needs help coming up with specific ways in which he can fight a more thoughtful and sensitive war on terror. In the spirit of cooperation, I'd like to suggest the following helpful list...
10. Stop calling it a "war." Rename it to the "Protest Against Terror." Protests always get people's attention and let them know that what you're protesting against is wrong.
9. Use softer bullets. Metal bullets hurt the terrorists, and that makes them hate us more.
8. Perhaps President Kerry can invite Osama bin Laden to the White House for a "cuddling party" with Kerry/Edwards. Nothing makes friends faster than a good cuddle.
7. Only go to war if the French and the UN say it's okay. Everyone knows how skillful the French are at dealing with other nations, and the UN has proven time and again its efficacy in dealing with terrorists.
6. Pull the troops out of Iraq within six months, but stay the course and even send more troops. If you have to ask, it's too nuanced for you.
5. Gently but firmly remind the terrorists that he was in Vietnam for four months thirty-five years ago. They won't dare pull anything then.
4. Ensure government owned and operated health care for all Americans, paid for with higher taxes. Terrorists won't bother to attack if they know all Americans have health care; it won't do any good then.
3. Stop eating pork and cover the women. Don't let them read or vote. That will show the terrorists that we understand them and appreciate their culture.
2. Don't call them "terrorists." They feel bad enough about our bullying, abusive foreign policy as it is. Call them "armed peace demonstrators." They'll feel more... peaceful.
1. Don't send soldiers; send social workers. All they really need is love and understanding.
"Armed" with these suggestions, I'm sure John Kerry will be able to convince the terrorists to stop hating us in no time, should he win November's election. As for me... I'll be in the mountains building a bunker.

When the world is all blowd up and the only thing left is a pile of smoldering rubble, that's when the French and UN (and probably Canada) will say it's ok.
LMAO
Sensitive to terrorist? The only sensitive thing I would give a terrorist is a heat seeking nuclear missle with the words "I AM THE GREAT CORNHOLIO!" written on it. And fire that sucker right up their bungholes!
If they want to blow themselves up so bad, why not help them with their life goal?

Cheney neglected to add that President Bush and other top administration officials, including Cheney himself, have publicly called for “sensitive” use of American military power. In March, 2001 at the christening of the USS Ronald Reagan, President Bush said “… because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence.” On January 7, 2003, Gen. Richard Meyers, chairman of the president’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the administration asks “our troops to go out there and be, on the one hand, very sensitive to cultural issues, on the other hand, be ready to respond in self-defense to a very ticklish situation.

BHibbs, I'm not trying to falme you here, but I know you don't like GWB and his policies and thats you perogative but tell me honestly do you think that spineless dirtbag John Kerry can do any better with national security? This is a serious question to someone I know opposes GWB, how do you think Kerry will be better, I like to hear the reasoning behind decisions so I can evaluate what other people with different views are coming from.

Its sad that a lot of votes will go to Kerry under the "Anyone but Bush" attitude.
Talk about uneducated voting. Got in this whole discussion with this girl last night saying she is voting against Bush and if that means Kerry then fine. Didnt know ***** from shinola but knew she was voting for someone else.
BHibbs, I too would like to hear your side. I am not flaming you either, you could be very knowledgable on your canidate selection. Most of this stems from the chick who knew nothing last night but still gets a vote equal to mine. I am just curious as to the pros of Kerry and the cons to Bush.
I am sick of hearing..."Uh I am voting against Bush because he ahhh is stupid and no other countries like us, and uhhh Iraq is like bad and we are wasting our time and stuff."
lol

It is very simple, Kerry will make us a much weaker nation and he has proved that point in his 20 plus years of public service. He has done everything in his power to make HUGE cuts in intelligence as well as done everything in his power to make HUGE cuts to the military, both in pay, benefits and how they are equipped to go to battle.
Kerry has already given us a glance of how he will make our nation much weaker and open us to further and more devastating terrorist attacks by proposing that he wants our troops out of Iraq within 6 months or so IF he becomes President.
This in and of itself shows great weakness, cowardness and obeying what the terrorists want. Kerry is following Clinton’s weak national security policies of giving in and obeying what evil people want. Remember Black Hawk down? Excellent example of how weak leaders act under pressure, back down and pretend there really isn’t a problem, show our enemies how weak our spine is by killing a few of our solders.
Some people may not like President Bush and outright hate him but he has been the only real leader, strong leader this country has had since 1992.
North Korea, Iraq, Iran and many other problems this President is dealing with now are directly related to having a weak leader for 8 years and doing very little to nothing about it.
Do people really want this? Do people really want to have to deal with even more problems in the future? That is the question and if the answer is NO, then Kerry is NOT the person for the job. Your only option is President Bush serving another 4 years and then we MAY have some of these problems corrected but it will take much longer to get us, our country, out of this very deep hole that was dug since 1992 – 2000.
That is the truth, it may make some people mad (like Kerry supporters) but the truth is the truth no matter how bad it hurts. Kerry as well as the vast majority of democrats and their liberal buddies have very weak to no spines when it comes to national security. They worry about the wrong issues, like social issues here at home. What they fail to understand is without a strong nation there is NO NEED for any social programs because when a nation fails to exist there is no structure, no government, to support these socialist programs…
These haters that support Kerry need to get over it THEY LOST in 2000 and they are going to LOSE in 2004. Kerry can’t shut up about his “questionable” service some 30 years ago and other then him running his mouth about Vietnam he has no vision what so ever except doom and gloom and the majority of the public never votes for those spewing about doom and gloom. Kerry was a traitor to his country in the 70’s and he will be once again if elected President. Kerry is the coward running for office and I think most intelligent people would agree with me that nobody wants a coward in the White House during these very dangerous times we live in due to another weak coward (1992 – 2000) that dug us this hole we are in today, no?

I predict a close election. Florida will go Blue this time but, Wisconsin or Missouri could come down to less than a thousand vote difference.
I can see the Headlines now:
Mid-West State Too Close To Call
GOV of Florida flies in to Oversee ReCount
