What I was saying is that "if" you believe the reports about the towers being blown from the inside, demolition style.... which is how they fell.... then the removal of bomb sniffing dogs days prior to the jets hitting is kind of suspicious.
Another interesting fact... The style of structure used in building the WTC is designed specifficaly to resist fire.... which was the reported cause of the collapse. There is no recored of a building with that specific structure type ever collapsing from fire. The building were designed to withstand and "jetliner category collision." as well.
Which they did, unitil.... booooom....at least thats the theory
just something to think about.... since there are people who stood to gain quite a bit from all of this.
That is a ****amamie theory.
The planes did hit the buildings.
The buildings are gone.
The people are dead.
What difference would it make if the planes hit the buildings and and bomb was in the buildings?
(which there wasn't, I'm closed minded on this point)
Why not....planes hit buildings and Osma Death Ray from outer space hit buildings?

Im going to see the movie this weekend..... Im not "all for" the guy...but I must admit, he made me smile when he tore into that reporter on CNBC ... couldnt stop laughing. Im sure I dont agree with everything that Im going to see.... Im sure he puts a spin on it....but so does the press, nothing new IMO
Ah yes the September 11th conspiracy theory rears its ugly head... Who stood to gain by that?
Has anyone else noticed that the political spectrum is less of a line and more of a ring with the extreme left and the extreme right coming back around close to each other in just how crazy and whacked they are? The right has a historical stigma of being intolerant but from my slightly right of center view point the left has proven that they can be pretty damn hypocritical, judgemental, intolerant, and reactionary in the past year.
Raoul, I'll try and see the film as soon as time premits (after Spiderman2, which is much higher on my list) and my intense dislike of MM as a person not withstanding I'll be glad to discuss it rationally. In the meanwhile I opperate from the assumption that the Bush Administration is neither as good/ competent/ honest as their drum beaters would have you believe and not as evil/ stupid/ decietful as MM says they are.

Woo Hoo! A new recruit!
And from Florida too, double Woo Hoo !!
(Just kiddin' I am anxious to get another persons opinion of the film, thanks)
p.s.
Two recruits !
Although, NY is in the bag, Hillary has promised to deliver.
I'm afraid your going to watch the wrong movie and vote for Spiderman in November.

I would have liked to create a new screen name and chime in again about the film just to skew Raoul's count, but alas I am too lazy to do it.
I'll say it again, go see the movie then you can criticize it. Without seeing the movie your opinion about it is empty and useless. Go see the movie and stand up at the end of it and tell the entire audience that it was a bunch of BS. I don't care, just see the movie instead of talking out of your butt about it. You can hate Moore all you want, but I don't see movie's because I like people's personalities. It is a socially relevent film worth seeing, whether you like the content or not. I know you may not want to encourage your political rivals to make films like this by giving them your money, but in that case I think it is also prudent to not comment on a film you have not seen.
are you kidding me? Monica Lewinsky? Whitewater? Ken Starr? You must have very short memory.

Burt, Everytime you say the lefties, you include all of them. Not all liberals think alike, regardless of what you believe. Since you like to quote Democrats that stated there were WMD's, what about these righties that said there were none or that he was not a threat?

I will say that it is not a 'dry' documentary.
There were at least five times when the audience laughed out loud and it wasn't because of some Bush gaffe except maybe twice, ...ok four times.
The guy at the Tappahannock Va garage got the biggest laugh.
The musical score will probably get an Academy Award nomination.
I don't want to give away the whole plot and say that Bush losses in the end.
I'll just say it's a pretty good Who-done-It and give it a B+.

For the public to back a war we normally would not is one reason. To pass bills that take away our rights in order to provide "protection from terrorists." You have to undertand that when the government wants something done, they dont mind tricking us into following them along.
The link below is the famous Northwood documents... ya know, when the government drew up plans to stage an attack from Cuba...

Of course the planes hit..I dont see your point there, but the towers would not have fallen from just that, as amazing as it sounds I know.
The way the building fell was to tidey...many fireman and demolition experts have stated that. There are documentaries on TV as well as news reports that stated this.
Quote from Caeser:
“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar.”

B+ is a little generous for its cinematic qualities. were there some goat references in the film that were targeted at you that I missed? I give it a B but I have to agree that the audience did get many a laugh.
The sad thing is that parts of it looked more like a Saturday Night Live sketch, except it was real footage. Like the part with the Secret Service agent outside of the Saudi Embassy or the midgets fondling ....oh wait, that was another movie I saw...
