I bought a 5 months f-250 From Canada and shiped it back home .
The truck just died and is stuck at local Ford dealer,, they can´t find the problem,,i was wondering when i will get the bill who´s paying, me, Icelandic dealer, or the guy i bought the truck form in Canada,,
one told me that the Iclandic dealer has to take care of it
thoug he didn´t sell it to me....
But they called me up to get my approval on open check to fix
the truck
thanks..

If you are talking about the basic Ford 3 year/36000 mile warranty that comes with all new Ford vehicles then, you should not be involved moneywise.
If an authorized Ford dealer is working on it, they will submit a bill to Ford Motor Company for warranty work.
Here in the US, they would not ask you to approve a blank check for this work. It is between FOMOCO and the dealer.

Hmm, might be a difficult one.
The F150/250/350 is not officially exported to Europe (or Iceland) so you may have problems getting the work done under warranty from a local dealer.
They almost certainly have no knowledge or training on these vehicles although you can plug them right into the European Ford diagnostic reader and get the codes.
I would suggest that you contact the guy you bought it from and find out the dealer who he got it from. Then contact them.
Good luck Roggi.

Ya, you want to check on that. I was contemplating buying a new truck when I received an assignment to Germany. Taking it out of the states wasn't a good thing, voided several things...

I think you need special equipment for that.
