I also do audio production in my own personal facility, freelance, and in another studio with a partner. I retired from doing live sound after a shootout in the club I was working in.
Big ups to all the servicepeople here... I have an Army SFC brother and Captain sister-in-law.

My Trucks
First of all, to everyone of you who either has served, is serving or is going to serve in our military, thank you and God bless you!
What I do pales in comparison: I am on state aid. I am a design tech specialist for the Iowa DOT in the Office of Design. In short, I create road plans which are used by contractors to build the roads on which you and I travel.
I am impressed by the diversity of this board...

blue collar, white collar, and Patriots...but where are the CPA's and Lawyers??
To the CPA's - how do I handle the depreciation of my trade in '01 Screw, vs the new laws in place when I bought my 04 in September, on my 03 taxes??? To the lawyers - how do I make sure I can keep my beloved 04, since my wife of 23 years thinks I love my truck more than her??
Where are the CPA's and lawyers??? Please provide your e-mail address and ph#. (hehehe)

Ex-U.S. Army Paratrooper working for good ole MWR in Vicenza, Italy.
Next year, the Army football team will beat at least one team, unlike this year.
Everyone here rocks
and please enjoy a beer offer.

Machinist here. I started in Aerospace making really cool stuff and now I am a regular CNC Programmer/Machinist making all kinds of neat little things for various companies.
The Aerospace stuff has been the most significant work I have done in my life though. I even made some stuff for the space station once. And some of you Air Force guys are probably flying around in jets that I've made parts for, so keep an eye on your flow paths and heat shields
