I felt threatened today when my dad mentioned seeing the "Chevy Colorado on tv" and thought it was a "really cool truck." I swear, I swear, if he brings home a truck like that, I will sell my soul to the devil himself. Just kidding, LOL, but really, the thought scares me.

 

Well, I'm sure I'll get flamed, but I'm going to have to agree with your Dad... I think it's pretty cool, but I would never trade my F150 for one...

It's the midget sibling of the Avalanche. Can't say I like the way it looks but it gets pretty good reviews.

GM dropped the ball on this truck. They should have built it on a variant of the TrailBlazer platform so it could fit the I6. Apparently, the engine bay is too small for the 6 so 5 is all you're gonna get.

I don't care how much power it pumps out, there is this mental stigma about not having a 6 in a compact truck.

Imagine if the Silverado had no V8 available. The I6 supposedly puts out 275 HP (same as Vortec V8). If Silverados only came with a 6 they would sell a handfull... and thats it.

 

And I saw one today.

 

I think they're really cool, and much better than their former s-dime. The interor is more modern, and I think its cool they're getting 220hp out of a 5cy, unlike my 8cl where it only puts out 220hp.
