Missing South Fl girls body found
The body of the girl that was abducted last week at the car wash in south Florida has been found.

The article mentions that the guy they are accusing has been arrested 13 times here in Florida. It said that he had been arrested and then released, only to be arrested again a few days later. I think there needs to be a limit to the number of times that a person can be arrested. After that, they stay in jail for the rest of their life.

This is a truly sad day. I am pretty pissed off with this situation. How can you keep releasing a scum like this guy. I feel others should be held accountable for this piece of dung being out on the street.
I am sitting at home this morning with my 11 yr old daughter while my 10 yr old has already got on the bus, and we are watching the news release. What can I say to her except be very aware of your surroundings. How can I emphasize that any more. Bite, kick, scream, what power would she have compared to an adult like this. We live out from the city, but still it makes me nervous sometimes, I cannot be everywhere she is. She knows how to handle a gun, but that is at home. Not like she can pack any heat. Just all makes me wonder if I am doing enough for the safety of my kids.

I think many of us feared this outcome but still hoped for a happy ending.
The little girl and her family is in my thoughts and I hope her parents can somehow find some much needed love and support at their darkest hour.
It's time like this that words fail me.
I will go out on a limb here and say something.
I cannot scientifically prove what I'm about to say, but it's something I believe whole heartedly.

My personal opinion is that you cannot "cure" these people.
Anyone who has been convicted of a sex crime should immediately be taken out to the gravel pit, and they get one in the head. "boom" Cya, wouldn't wanna be ya"
The frightening part of sex offenders is they cover all the spectrums of the socioeconomic scale.
Rich or poor, it doesn't matter, and once someone gets a "taste" for it, forget.
I view these people like a rabid dog that need to be put down ASAP.
I agree with Paul, the system let this girl down, and it should never have allowed this scumbag to be walking the streets.

The other sickening part is this guy had been charged and aquited of atempted kidnapping. What I heard (not verified) is that he got off because some lawyer convinced everyone that this guy just wanted "somebody to walk with" and wasn't trying to abduct anybody.

This absolutely breaks my heart. I read the story and it brought tears to my eyes, tears don’t come to my eyes easy, but anything to do with a child just does it.
I would love to spend just 5 minutes with this piece of chit and it would be all over. However I will not have that opportunity.
Here is the best thing the “system” can do now after they screwed up. Put this piece of chit in the “general population” in prison, everything will be taken care within hours of his arrival and it won’t cost the taxpayers a penny.
Like Habibi stated which I too believe is absolutely true about sex offenders and that is they are addicted and can NOT be cured, only one way to cure their sick disease and that is to isolate then from the public until the day they die.
It is NOT cruel and unusual punishment to put someone convicted of a sex crime against a child into prison to be beat down like a dog until they can no longer breath because they have completely destroyed a child’s life. Some children are lucky and do not die but they live with the situation for the rest of their life’s, so either way the sex offender after conviction NO longer should have any rights granted to humans PERIOD!
Call me what you want be if I saw this piece of chit on the street knowing what I know now, or another one like him it would be CLICK-CLICK BOOM with the shotgun…
And no that is not being cruel to another human, or even animal for that matter because these type of people are neither human or animal…

I just can't stop seeing the image of her mother crying for her return, and knowing what she must be going through right now...
and there's nothing that will make it better, not even time... I know seeing the guy ripped to shreds would make us feel better, but how in the Hell does someone in her parents position deal with this... Losing someone is bad enough...
I kinda hope he doesn't get the death penalty. If he goes to prison for life I have good feeling they'll know what to do with him there. Jeffery Dommer ring any bells...

This is just more proof that you can't 'rehabilitate' a pedophile. I heard he walked on a kidnapping/sexual assault in '97 because he said he needed someone to talk to. 
At least in Florida he'll get the death penalty. Sad that it'll cost around seven figures to get his sick **** convicted.

Sadly, that guy isn't the problem, it's all the bureacrats, lawyers, public defenders, social workers, etc. that gave him the first 13 breaks.
The legal system is no longer in place to protect the innocent, but to protect the guilty. Those people that gave him the first 13 breaks will not have to serve a moments time or a dime in pay deductions for the "crimes" they did years ago. The satute of limitations has run it's course for them. I only hope if they could have done something and didn't that they now live the remainder of their lives fretting over their decisions.

Basically like serotta stated the reason the guy was still walking the streets is because of people among us who feel everyone’s pain and honestly believe its not the guilty persons fault but rather someone else’s fault and thus these slim bag piece of chit’s get to walk free over and over and over again…

Does anyone know if there is an arrest limit? Like how many times a person can get arrested before they stay in jail. Would this vary by state? Some states have a three strikes and you're out law and Florida has that too. But our law only applies to crimes with guns. It should be three arrests and you are in prison for a minimum of say 5 years depending on the conviction. A sex offender or murderer should never be allowed back on the streets.
How can we get through to the government that we are tired of this kind of crap that should have never happened in the first place if the person had not been on the streets and in jail where he belonged?

A buddy of mine did some time in a federal prison and he told me that not one inmate that was there due to a crime against a child lasted more than a few weeks without getting gang raped, beaten so bad that they were un-recognizable or killed, or treated so bad that they spent almost all of their time in solitary. He also said that they would get moved to new prisons a lot where the cycle would start all over again.
I know this doesn't help the parents nor would it help me much if it was my little girl.
The laws in the country have become so lax that there are 1000's of cases on the books right now for prisoners being unfairly treated for things like not having access to color tv or high speed internet!
You know when I was a young lad over 30 years ago it was drilled into our head that if you can't to the time don't do the crime, now we have become so soft that if you do the crime it is fun to do the time! Especially if you are a minority.
We as a counrty are so messed up that we let this dirtbag loser out 13 times but we freak out about Janet Jackson's breast on TV for a total of 1/2 a second. We have become so spineless and or morals completely convoluted.
Here is what I suggest:
3 strikes and you are out for all felonies in every state, mandatory 5 years hard time (Or more depending on crime committed)
Flat sales Tax nation wide, period.
National health care
Welfare reform
Nation wide driver re-testing after age 65 and every two years after that
Racial profiling on all of our borders
nudity and profanity are legal on tv and radio after 11pm if you don't like it don't watch/listen to it. By the way who decides what is offensive to me and my family??
legalize prostitution and some drugs. this will take a lot of the bling out of street and gang related crime
nationwide death penalty
term limits on the house and senate (Kennedy has been messing things up for far too long)
