I was just wondering because the oppurtunity has presented itself. I've been kind of haging around with this girl, and thinking about officially asking her out. However, I found out she is a stripper. She is very nice, has the best attitude, you name it, she has it. It actually doesn't bother me, I'm more curious to see how others would feel about the same situation, or view it from the 3rd person.

If you like her, go for it.

2 things though:

1) If you decide to get serious, make sure you are 100% okay with her stripping, she may decide to do it for a long time.

2) I've known a couple stippers, and most of them had dimished sex drives . More specifically since thats what they did all day at work, when they get home they're just warn out and not in the mood (and don't want to have anything to do with it). Of course, all girls are different.

 

As long as you don't have any long term expectations. I dated several of them when I was younger. In fact, when I was in the service, That's all I dated. While no two people are alike, the one common denominator they all had was being flighty and fickle. It's hella fun while it lasts; but, keep your feet on the ground. I say go for it.

 

I never experienced the low sex drive thing from strippers myself. They do tend to have a lower opinion of men in general though, once they've been doing it for a while. They have to put up with the worst behavior, from some guys, on a regular basis. It colors their opinions for all of us. Trust can be a real issue, also.

 

Well I never dated a stripper (yet) so I can't say I experienced it, just chats with the ones I knew.

Their opinions of men .... well you nailed that one good.

the way i would think is "forget about her being a stripper first, decide if she is the kind of girl you would date normally. then think about if your ok with the stripping part." also becuase MOST strippers are pretty active sexually, make sure its not gonna kill ya before doing anything

but yeah make sure your ok with her stripping because she wont quit just because you dont like it

 

If you're gonna date a stripper, wear a jimmy hat.

 

I'm assuming/hoping you're talking about maybe piercings/tattoos, that kind of thing, and not a burning sensation when she pees...

I'm with everyone else. If you're okay with her stripping, and seriously not a jealous guy, go for it. I personally would not be okay with it, but I would have absolutely no problem being friends with a stripper, just couldn't deal with her job...

Good luck either way, and you know a few snapshots of the happy couple couldn't hurt, right???

ask yourself this question ....
if we went out with some other people (your age, your parents, whoever) and somebody said,
"So Boom-Boom, what do you do for a living?"
Would you be embarrased at the truth?
I think you know the answer.
Now if this is all in fun and you're not serious - go for it.

 

That's a good point. I've never dated a stripper while living near my family. Only while I was away from people who's opinion mattered to me. Good advice.

 

I have never dated a stripper or anything, but one thing that I have seen and heard is that many strippers that do drugs. I am not saying that all of them do drugs. There may be a lot that don't do drugs. If it was me, I would definately want to know if she does or doesn't do drugs. But thats just me.
