Not all racists are as sophisticated as you are and tend to use the word "*****" for any asian. I think she is over-sensative and is very likely out of line; but, would have every reason to be upset if someone actually called her a "*****," or any other name that is associated with asians by the morons that are likely to use them.

 

That could be read to imply that J-150 is a racist. That was not my intention.

The plane (nearly full) busted out into hysterical laughter.... it was certainly a great way to keep everyone in decent spirits.

The lawsuit sound frivoulous to say the least... it's ashame that some people consider something as simple, innocent, and spirited to be racist. Very sad indeed....

I have been living around washington DC my whole life and these kinds of lawsuits run rampent here. the police are even affraid to pull anyone over that isn't white even if they are the same race as the person they are about to pull over!

It sucks. Every one is so mad at everyone else around here. They wonder why we can't move forward on the race issue.

No one takes responsibilty for their own actions. it is always someone elses fault.

Southwest is a ground breaking airline and should not settle for any reason and should fight this lame excuse for a law suit and then counter sue for absolute stupidity.

If the loser had to pay court costs, there would be a lot fewer of these types of bull***** cases. The only problem with that is, then big companies and corporations would be able to get by with a lot more crap, because poor people wouldn't be likely to take the chance of losing in court. Even if they were in the right. It's a tough row to hoe either way.

 

Instead of the loser paying court costs which as Odin pointed out hurts the little guy. They instead should impose limits on awards for frivolis lawsuits. Including malpractice. (a whole other ball of wax!)

So for instance these incredibly stupid women would be limited to possibly winning only say $100k instead of millions.

 

I say the Southwest attorneys should keep these moron women in the court system until they are both HOMELESS, make a damn example out of stupidity…

 

They should be required to ask for an apology first. If none is offered then and only then should they be allowed to persue it in the courts. The maximum award should be the origonal apology that they asked for. What a crock. Eeney meeny miney more, get your dumb **** out the door!
