70% deaf in one ear and 30% in the other I have a hearing aid but can usually get by without it and know some sign language

I am enrolled in a sign language course, and 2 people in the class were partially deaf.

 

I am about 70% deaf in my left ear. I don't wear a hearing aid, but if I cover my right ear I can't hear much of anything with my left ear.

I know some sign language I learned way back in like 1st or 2nd grade...
