Canadian Postage Stamp question

How much are Canadian stamps now? Did their price go up recently? Anyway, I have a pack of 60-cent Canadian stamps. If the price for these stamps did go up, would it be okay if I attached a 60-cent stamp to an envelope, and pay the remainder at the post office?

It costs 48 cents to mail a letter within Canada for standard letter mail up to 30 grams.
30-50 grams is 77 cents.

sending a letter to America costs 65 cents (up to 30 grams)
30-50 grams costs 90 cents.

Now, if I mail a letter from Canada to America, I must apply Canadian postage to the envelope, I'm guessing the same rules apply to Americans when sending mail from there. (You can't eveb purchase US stamps from a Canadian post office)

So, your Canadian stamps are probably useless to you if you plan on using them from the States.

Hope this helps

Isn't that logical Habibi, there are two different countries involved.

Well now you went and done it!

All this time in GD, I'm being everyone's buddy and pal so as to not rouse anyone's suspicions.
Now F150Europe went and tattle taled on me. (It was the Euro-Canada thing wasn't it?)

Nobody, and I mean nobody reads the Canada forum, so I thought my secret (master plan) was safe there, LOL

Since the element of surprise is now lost, the invasion is off! (%$#%@)

I did have a few supporters from GD who knew of the impending attack, and they were offering to help any way they could. To you people I say a big heart-felt "Thank You"
Some of your countrymen would call you traitors, but later in time, you would've been known as "Heroes. (You know who you are)

It's not too late!
If Ford Lariat will kick in the stamps we can mail Canadian midgets to key US locations.

At a predetermined time the little shin-kickers could leap out and wreak havoc until Uncle Sam cries 'Uncle'.

It could work!
The stamps are available and Canada has an over abundance of angry little midgets!

hey, Americans read the Canada forum about as often as they listen to us on the world stage... which isn't very often.

Justified? Of course. We usually have nothing to say. And when we do it comes out of the mouth of "the little guy from Shawinigan" (our prime minister whom can't speak either of the 2 official languages)

I like the plan Raoul, but the 3 midgets we had are all gone.
One is in Hollywood working on the set of "Willow 2", the 2nd one got a job doing ****. (He's the one you see in all the movies, 3 feet tall, hung like a shetland pony, and wears the little elf costume.

The 3rd one got in a bad car wreck and died when the phone book he was sitting on, slipped out from under his butt, and he lost control of his car.

We need a new plan!

Thanks... I am mailing from the U.S... They gave me a pack of 60 cent stamps for mailing to Canada (and has been successful). My question is, could I put a 60-cent stamp on the envelope, and pay the 5 cents at the counter, and have them stick on a label that says '$.05' along with the stamp? Would that work? I paid good money for them stamps, it would be a waste not to use them.

How do you send mail to the U.S. if they don't sell U.S. stamps in Canada?

Canadian midgets have launched an offensive against
The United States. Luckily, at the National Guard Armory,
a successful counter offensive was launched, driving the
vicious hordes back to Munchkin Land.... err.... Ahem....
I mean Canada.

Since you are sending a letter FROM America to Canada, you have to use US stamps.
Kapish?

When I send a letter from Canada to America, I use a Canadian stamp, see, that's the way it works.

JUst cuz I'm a pal, I'll take them off your hands for 10 cents on the dollar (you pay postage)
