YANKS CRUSHED, 1st game of 2003 WORLD SERIES

Yeah! the Marlins butchered the yanks at the yankee stadium! Juan Pierre rocks!

This is a habit of the Marlins, the whip the yanks.

Yanks fans will have to wait until later

Crushed? Butchered?

I don't know that those terms qualify for a 3-2 win.

I do however hope that the Marlins crush Steinbrenner's multi-millionaires 4-0 for the series.

Crushed and Butchered... for sure, it was the easiest thing in the world for the marlins to take the lead, they scored their runs easily. The yanks however had a real hard time scoring theirs.

I'll have to question your choice of words too......

crushed and butchered

Relax my friend, after-all, it was only a 1 run victory. But a victory non the less. I believe the Marlins are a team of destiny, much like the Angels where. They got hot at the right time of year.

Btw, the Yankees lost the first game of all their series

GO METS errrrrrr, next year

Ditto here, I'm a METS fan at heart

I'll still root for the Yankees though, especially against the Sox or especially if the Cubs had made it. The Marlins? All the power to them, though I'd hardly call that a slaughter.

Ya see, when you're a New York fan, you just don't like teams from Chicago, Philly and California to include Boston...I like underdogs, just not those teams...

haha, I guess I could have used two different words, but I might as well use these since I hadn't used them for some time

Getting ready for the perfect game being pitched against the yanks

ok, maybe it won't be completely perfect, just alomst perfect...

(IMHO)

Don't know if I'll see the game tonight

I got the girlfriend coming over tonight. I'll give her a choice of the ballgame or a movie (**** Asians).

Either way, I'll be a winner
