Anyway, my wife says that explains a lot especially watching NASCAR and terrorising people in tiny cars over here with my pick-up. That genetic thing must be true.
watch the race yesterday? Can you say "WOW"

You can say that again. Just glad to hear that Elliot Sadler was ok after that crash. I didn't think a stock car could fly like that.

Just a note to J-150 and Adam. You have stumbled on our government's plot to convert the entire world into Americans. Please don't be afraid, and we have to ask that you don't spread this information around.

You may notice an increased interest in televised sporting activities, fatty foods, and lousy beer; and a decreased desire to perform your job well. You may also notice that you tend to speak loudly in public places, wear loud printed clothing, carry large camera equipment, and lose the ability to speak other languages. These are all normal and to be expected.

As soon as we can work out the details regarding who will be left to perform menial labor tasks (I'm pulling for cyborgs, but some people think importing alien life-forms or keeping the French as slaves are better ideas) the plan will go into effect.

We are asking you, as Americans, to keep quiet until we get this all worked out.

Nah, I just came back to work.
Still no power at the house, 12 days and counting.

Finally got a tally on my trees, 21 down and 3 quaked that need to come down. Six of them are now neatly cut and stacked

(I refuse to shave until FPL gives me juice)

related to Raoul? brrr.... that was a shiver running down my back.

As much as I want to embrace my American roots, I have to draw the line at giving up good beer for that watered down moose pi$$. No flame inteneted for those who like it, but I like my beer with flavour and alcohol content!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the NASCAR. I am still out in Azerbaijan for about another month.
The real definition of the 3rd world is no ESPN.
As for flafonman's description, that's pretty spooky. It's just how my wife describes me.

All you need now is to get a rebel flag on your truck and have the horn play 'Dixie'... and get a gunrack

Then go post in the 'Hicks' thread.
