Computer spy cleanup stuff...

http://www.enigmasoftwaregroup.com/jump22.shtml

Anyone know anything about this kinda stuff? I ran the free scan, and it found all kinds of junk. I found this site, because some other site I was on said I had some spy software that I was probably getting annoying popups which I am, all the time from just about every site I go to... wanting to know if I'm interested in similar sites or if I want to buy something related. I'm really interested in this software, but don't want to run it just to have it install it's own version of spyware...

This thread was up about a week ago talking about Spy-Bot

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=127814

Spy-Bot is good because it is a 100% free with no adware or spyware with it. And after I updated it, it now scans over 9000 types of spyware that you could possibly have. The first time I ran it, I had an enourmous amount of spyware, now I run it after every couple of internet logoffs. And you can then take actions. This one also lets you pick and choose what you want to keep and don't want to keep.

Spy-bot and LavaSoft Ad-aware are both good.

I've found Spy-bot to find a little more thorough then Ad-aware, but I like Ad-aware's interface more the Spy-bot.
