I just downloaded it this morning and, after cleaning the spyware and adware off my hard-drive, everything is much faster. You guys would be amazed how much crap there is on your computer. Mine is only about 3 months old now, and was already starting to drag ***. I would recommend everybody using Spy-bot.

Yeah I give all the machines we have the Spybot S&D treament every now and then. Then if they don't pass, I yell at the person for DLing all that crap. Freeware is not FREE, it is trading part of your PC's resources, and your privacy for using the program - just ask me for the software you want - GEEEEZ!

I downloaded it last night and turned it loose on my machine. I printed all the spy-ware it found and cleaned from my machine. The list was eight pages long!!! Is this an unusually large amount or is it typical?

 

Did I mention how much I like those wheels?

I downloaded it and cleaned out my hard drive. I signed on to the internet adn only visited this site and another Ford truck site and ran it again. And would you believe that there was more stuff that it found. Even with this software, if the offender has you in their system, they will still get you.

 

paul, there is a ford truck site (that I won't name, but it isn't this one) that had so many background programs, and tracking going on, it's the closest thing to a **** site, so I am not surprised. Of course I haven't checked it lately, but I doubt it has gotten any better.

 

Tried it. Didn't seem much better then Ad-aware. But it's effective and it's staying.
