All of us Florida folks are off the hook, but it looks like SC,NC,VA,NJ an all points North could be in for it.
To all of the members of the F150Online Community who are in her path (captainoblivious, serotta, Pickup Man, odin's wrath, Raoul, Harley#356, Yankee7985 just to name a few) chime in when you can so we know you are ok and prepared.
Good Luck and Be Safe.

I bought all the milk and bread at our local Harris Teeter just this morning. When Hugo came through more than a decade ago, we lost the third floor of our house. We have since gotten much smarter, we built a house last year without a third floor.
Thanks for the concern fonman, I'm sure we will keep everyone here at f-150 updated.

If it went slightly more to the west it'd hit me smack dab on the top of the head
And if it goes where it's forecasted, we expect tropical force winds here, and lotsa rain.
Hope y'all stay safe nearer to it!

Sorry I forgot you bloom.
There are a lot of members on the East Coast, and I don't think too many people pay attention to where folks are located. Events like this affect the lives of a lot of people; however few take the time to consider who those people are.
Stay dry
Update: The attached link outlines a few of the problems with this storm, not the least of which is the fact that most National Guard troops are out of the country.

Looks like the Outer Banks will get the first hit and then the Tidewater, Virginia (Va Beach, Norfolk, Hampton, etc.) is next in line. Fortunately, it appears to be losing some strength. The Weather Channel said it was down to 115mph this morning. Not great but sure is a lot better than the 150mph it used to be.
We're hunkering down and hoping for the best!

I'm a little farther inland, but we'll get some serious rain from it. I'm down in the tip of Virginia, but still yet, we'll get some hard wind and quite a bit of rain. Thanks for lookin` out, flafonman!

They showed us an awesome picture taken from a plain in the center of that hurricane at the 6.00 weatherforecast.
Didn't know they actually fly thru (sp!) the eye of the hurricane to do research (Hurricane Center).
Everyone take care.
