Welcome to a great site. I frequent many of the Ford boards on the net inlcuding the one you mentioned. I do have a comment tho, when it comes to opinions or postings you have to abide by the sites rules. I have run a site before and had a few people who objected to what they felt was censorship. I told them tough luck, I pay for it so I make the rules and the decisions on what is objectionable. Just a recommendation to give some thought before putting it on the board.
Once again Welcome to the site!

Well it wasnt realy my opinion why I quit. I called out a member for post padding then he just went off on me. He was a division lead and didnt handle the situation accordingly IMO. They do not enforce the rules the same for everyone therefore I didnt wanna be part of that anymore. That site has went down every since it has been geared towards money with all the new sites opened. Oh well.

Not me. I saw where that site was heading early on, and didn't want to be a part of it.
Life is short and I prefer to enjoy it. I have no need for power trips, comercialism, or political agendas.
Every now and again I hear that someone over there is impersonating me, but Trust me, I have never joined, nor entered a chatroom there.
I should warn you that when you speak negatively of that site over here, someone from there usually shows up with flamethrowers. Some loser will post the threads link to their boards, and the thread will get so trashed, it will have to be closed.
There are some 'dual' members however, that know how to behave, and they don't talk much about it.

I'm a member of FTW also, mainly for the chaptor activities.
Several of us hang out every few months, it's a lot of fun.
I enjoy them both, but this is where I hang my hat.

"Multiple Member"

I'm a member "over there" as well as several other "truck" sites. There does seem to be more "back fighting" on that site than most of the others, but I have been to a few "get 2 gethers" with the folks close to where I live and they seem like some really nice folks. I am older than most of them (OK all of them) that I have met, so I am probably a little more subdued than most of them. I will answer or "post a reply" to threads which I feel I can contribute to, but I do pretty well stay out of the "bickering". It is a "no win" situation. Glad to have you here, as I have not seen any of the "stuff" going on here. Have fun.

I'm a member over there, but rarely visit the site. I find that with my slow connection speed, it takes a long time for anything over there to load. F150 online just can't be beat IMO.

I visit the site sometimes but I think this one is much better. On a 56k that site really sucks. This one is great.

I'm like Habibi. I am a memeber over there only because of the state chapters. I always look for people in my area to converse about trucks with. So I usually don't post anywhere but in the Michigan section.

I guess I'm still technically a member over there, but I don't think I've been to FTW for over a year now...

I am a "Dual" member similar to Habibi because of the get togethers.

However I spend 98% of my time here. It's just my opinion that I like it here beter. There is no other reason.

I am a member of both. This one has better information but I enjoy the other one as well. I have seen many people banned from this one and favoritism as well (especially in the Lightning forum). Davids2001, it can happen here too if you do not behave.
