First time was a Jeep, and only a Jeep was involved.

Second time was a truck and a semi that were involved.

Everything has been taken care of at this point, although State Farm dropped our coverage after the second time. After we were dropped we wrote a big ole letter and we got it back, but are under a sort or probationary timeframe where if something else happens it is over.

How are they going to drop you when non of this was your fault.

when it costs them money to have you as a client because you've had multiple high cost claims. same way with car insurance, if you have a bunch of accidents even if they're not your fault they consider you high risk and either refuse to insure or jack up the rate. almost any accident you have in thier eyes should have been avoided by defensive driving skills.

Glad you, the dog and the truck are A-OK. Those pictures are just insane.

Stunned

I would have went from stunned to angry in about 3 secs and would have been beating the drunk down when the Police got there. Or shall I say holding the drunk down with my feet when the Police got there. That's how it usually happens. They say the drunks are so relaxed and not tense and avoid a lot of injury that way.

Ya see, this guy would have gotten his blankity-blanking-blank kicked.

That's what scares me- I have a corner lot, and fools routinely rip down my street (20 MPH speed limit) and what has to be 70 MPH; I saw a new Eclipse rip down the street yesterday as I trimemd my hedges. All I know is that it was a booger-green Mitsubishi Eclipse with paper plates on it.

It wouldn't take much for one to lose their car, hop the curb, up the hill and through my office, or through my son's room.

Somebody would catch some knuckles (If we were as lucky as you were) or some lead.

I can't stand drunks....

I would have gone and kicked the numbnut in the teeth then pulled him out and asked him if he was ok.

Good luck with all the legalities.
