There is always someone to tell you.
"Man you were Lucky"
If you were lucky it wouldn't have happened. Hopefully something good will come of it all. If nothing else it will be a Memorial weekend story to be retold for many years.

Hope it doesn't get tied up in the courts and your insurance moves quick.

Holy Moly zbornac

Thank God no one was hurt

GET A PRIVATE INSURANCE ADJUSTER
He gets 10% of the claim, but I grrnty you he will get you
2 to 3 times what the the Insurance Company offers.
Even with his 10%, I bet you walk about with double.

ALWAYS GET A PRIVATE ADJUSTER FOR A HOME OWNERS CLAIM.
Sue the Drunk too of course.

Stuff like this is scary, so many what if's. But on the bright side you wanted a sun room anyway and you never really liked the color of that room. In all seriousness I'm glad your ok and wish you and your family the best during the renovation. Todd

That exact same thing happened to me last summer. Except it was an old 70's chevy pickup. The pics you posted look about like what happened to my house. Except I was 3 feet from the wall, when the truck came through. I got hit by a 250 lb. bookcase, and it almost broke my leg. My Dad was lucky, the chair he was sitting in had a bunch of concrete blocks and bricks all in it. And there was a sharpe 2x4 that launched itself straight at him. He jumped out of the way before it got to him though. I'm just glad you are ok. I know, how you feel, because I ***** a brick when that truck came through. The cops caught the two guys that came through our house, and yes they were drunk. And one decided to run, but the cops got him a week later. The driver didn't have any insurance, but luckily we did. So our house got fixed. Did the guy have insurance? The house can be replaced, but you cannot. Just be glad you are alive. You are very lucky. And I think someone up above was watching over you. I posted the same thing you did about a year ago in General Discussion, but I had no pics. Just details. I know what your'e going through man, but things will be ok. Just count your blessings that you are alive.

Can't add anything to all this chit......

but just glad you didn't get hurt. Somrething similar happened to me when I was a kid. Couple guys racing down the street in front of my house. hits a curb, that throws the car to the other side of the street. Plowed into my car which was in the driveway. Which was sitting in front of my bedroom, totaled the car, but didn't hit the house, wondered what every became of that 65 Mustang?

I willn't comment on the race, color. or creed of the "driver", because I don't know.........the car was stolen and the driver fled. But it was probably some male
