God Bless the Astronauts

It has been reported that the spaceship Columbia has broke up over the Dallas area uponing re-entry. The are looking for survivors, but I think its not going to happen. They where at 200,000 ft at 5 times the speed of sound.
Their familys are in my prayers

I agree this is a sad day, it just shows how dangerous of a job the astronaunts have.

God speed to the crew, you will all be missed.

When I first heard it on the radio I thought was a joke, now I wish it was just a joke.

I live

in NE Dallas.. it was about 8a this morning that my wife and I were watching TV.. we heard a large BOOM sound that shook the house. We both looked at each other and wondered what made that sound. I figured someone must be doing some heavy construction nearby and must have dropped a heavy load on the ground nearby.. To our dismay, we flipped over to the news and saw the story and the pictures unfold in front of us..
My father worked on the Shuttle in its development and early days.. it all hits very close to home.. so sad this type of loss.

God Bless

Dana
